I need to change the way I'm functioning as a photographer in order to fully engage in inspired moments and creative ideas! Follow me as I come to this realization while trying to throw together a last minute photo shoot.
Here is a list of the things I'm aiming for after filming this:
-Journal or take notes every time I use a film camera. I would like to include things like camera, film type, date. WOW THAT WOULD BE SO USEFUL. Let's not even get into camera settings, that would probably be asking too much.
-Be more organized/stop being a mess. These go hand in hand, I'm trying to put things back where they go and I want to completely reorganized my cameras.
-Be prepared. This mainly refers to the fact that whenever I want to use a camera it either doesn't have a battery, film, or a memory card that I can find. I need my cameras ready for action if I want to catch the good shots!
-Finish the roll/place for finished film. This is a no brainer. I get lazy toward the end of a roll and think, I'll just save these last 2 frames. Thats silly, there's always something else to take a photo off, and leaving the roll in the camera leads to me not knowing what is on it!
I'll put a box in the fridge just for shot rolls from now on!
