Made me so happy to hear you say that no realism artists work solely from their head, and use things like grids. I feel less intimidated now, and more like, if I keep working at it, I can draw the way I want to draw. Thank you😃xxx

I'd love to know what kinds of music you enjoy while you draw. I know it's not a technical art question, but sometimes that can tell me a lot about an artist's mindset. (For me, it's usually goth, punk, and post-punk)

Hi, it wasn't anything fancy. It was just a standard blade attached to compass that you'd usually use for a pencil.

What side of the arches paper do you draw on? I have some and it seems to be more textured on one side. I’m doing smaller portrait style work currently and wonder if I should stick to the smoother side to aide in getting the details right. Thanks for any input.

I'm sure it takes a lot of planning before you start a drawing and you have to know exactly what the outcome of the drawing would look like because of commting so much time.

great video! would definitly love to see a video on how you use your grid method i think this would be really helpful as someone who tends to shy away from the traditional grid method of lots of boxes, i know alot of artists use different grids.
