Thanks for this Tochi. I agree with you on this. Especially in the property ladder, we blacks need to get on it. There are tons of videos on KZitem that can help anyone learn on how to invest in property in the UK, and the amazing thing is you can start without any of your own money. All you need is skills and education. Let’s not settle for less! I used to think every black moving to the UK settles for less , just to get by. But the tides are changing and people like you Tochi is helping out.

Thank you so much sis Tochi for speaking about this. I love the point especially where you talked about the state of that African store and the attitude of our pple towards business. It pains me that Africans do not incorporate excellence into businesses and customer service. You see the oyinbo man and how they do their thing, you can see that excellence is important to them, customer service must be top notch. I'm surprised that our pple will relocate abroad and carry that non challant attitude towards excellence rather than learn to do better. Its sad. I agree that we should also learn to work together, help one another to grow rather than this competitive spirit our pple have abroad. As more pple relocate, I hope that we can learn and do better and the statistics will improve. Please continue to speak up on issues like this, many other youtubers don't talk about this, its one of the things that make you stand out. We support you, pls keep up the good work, God bless

Thank you for this. It's exactly what I tell my friends and colleagues. Just because you are abroad doesn't mean you should limit your scope to the job that brought you in, abroad itself is not an achievement, its only a means to an end. We should challenge ourselves daily to get more exposure and information that can help us live a fulfilled life.

@@TochiEsther lm sorry lm just seeing this now, the student visa policy which allows a person to bring in their family members but if the income as analysed by the video says that the disposable income is £600 per week then it may limit the number of family members that may be allowed to come into the country or the years of the visa or other restrictions to prevent the black community of increasing poverty in the land. You know that the home office is watching every thing. Already there is the talk that part of the increased pressure on NHS is the influx of people from Africa

What a well depth research you pointed out on this video. Most of Nigerian in abroad not all , most unexposed African and naija don't humble themselves, still carrying Same Nigerian mindset down there, and they Don't want environment to Change them positively. Humility, loyalty , lack of fellow feelings, that is setting on them. Indian are business minded and always ready to learn and transform things. Watch them and listen to them online or get chat frm them. If you are doing things in the same way and it would surely comes up with same results. Let our people bring down the ego, and ready to learn and share and show genuine love to each others there , in due time it would radiate to other fellow naija and black people there. Showing off with pride Don't take us to any where, only to boost social media and risks our lives while we come down for vacation at home. Let them make friends with those that knows road out there , they would be more than happy to open up with positive minds.. thanks alot for this informations..

Lovely video, Tochi. I have three admission offers in IT, and I’ve been discouraged. My spouse doesn’t buy the idea, because she would be the dependant; she doesn’t want to work full time (“suffer”) in the UK. She wants the soft life. I think I might just forget the “UK dream” and continue living in Nigeria. I have dreamt of owning properties and businesses in the UK. 😔 I commit everything in God’s hands. 🙏

We Nigeria's still have a long way to go. Until we put away selfishness and thinking about oneself alone, then we will never move forward. The Indias are honest and have team spirit mindset . I even prefer to move with the Indias than the Nigeria's becos I know I will get better opportunities from them than Nigeria's. Most of the time the Nigeria's that as be in uk for a long time are looking for a way to scam those who are just coming in. So how do we now want to grow. We need to tell our self the true. Most Nigeria's are selfish and dnt want to help.

No, that may break the rules of your visa. It may be better to be finalising your business plans while you complete your studies. Focus on your studies because some businesses fail but your studies can help you get a short-term job for short-term salary while you wait for your business to start breaking even and start making money
