I have severe Crohn’s of my small bowel, primarily the the terminal ileum (the very end, the most common part). And while it has been horrible and complicated (lots of outside the bowels complications) anything affecting the large bowel creates way more symptoms day to day. The diarrhea, running to the bathroom, etc. UC almost almost sounds more horrible symptoms wise from what I’ve heard from friends with UC, not Crohn’s.

You want to have UC. Seriously?

Watch the video, gosh darn. In comparison to Crohn’s, yes. If you have trouble understanding that: I do not want a broken bone, but I would rather have that than bone cancer.

@@user-kj2zi9ui1gSo I take it you done more than a hundred closure operations? Without problems? Neither condition is nice - and for a doctor to say one condition is better or worse is unprofessional at best. And coming from a GP trainer as well.

As someone with IBD, both are awful and I don't wish UC and Crohns to anyone But if you compare the areas UC and Crohns attack, UC is less worse since it only attack the large intestines, Crohns can affect your entire digestive system (from mouth to anus) and it's a lot more harder to treat than UC I hope I explained it well

@@palomathereptilianBoth diseases are problematic - saying that a pouch and closure operation is easy peasy as Dr James tries is simplistic, lazy and plain wrong.
