In today's video we address why my 2024 F150 5.0 RCSB was so slow in the first video where we tested the performance on it! HATS + DECALS - lmfscrew.bigca... Dragy - amzn.to/3XRkqjh
I guess i should have clarified all tracked accelerations were done on factory wheels/tires. Thought that was clear due to the first video being posted before a single modification was done and no tire noise in the video. In the video the truck runs much better times the second time so no it was not on the 33s.

Good point, but the "turd" you referred to used to be called, "Factory Mule", though for another reason. My first job in 1979 (age 19) was at a machining plant. They had Company cars & asked me to take the medium blue 1978 Malibu with no A/C or amenities, a very light car. Just automatic transmission & radio. Very boring rental-grade 3,000 lb car. When I turned onto the 55 mph highway up the road, I gave it the gas hard, thinking this cheap slug wasn't going anywhere. Lord was I wrong. That engine let out a roar & the car raced hard past 60 mph faster than I could believe! After I stopped, I looked under the hood & saw a V8. The only optional engine in that model would've been a 305 V8 2bbl carb putting out 130 hp. This was not THAT engine. It was one of the fastest cars I'd been in up to now; mind blowing! I think the factory unknowingly slipped a high performance Corvette L82 350 in there? In comparison that '78 Corvette weighed 3,520 lbs. The L82 put out 220 hp. A heck of a ride for a 3,000 lb car!

Factory freaks don't exist anymore. Manufacturering tolerances and ECU tuning are too close these days. Your issue is you're brake stalling too long. Sport mode, nannies off, hard as possible on brakes, mash the gas to the floor, and release the brakes Sitting on the TC creates a ton of heat amd lag. Also, ambient heat and humidity sucks a ton out of a naturally aspirated motors. Think an easy 0.5 seconds slower and 3-4mph in the 1/4 mile in 80+ degree temps. Density altitude is a real thing. Those heavy wheels and tires are killing the times too. Cool weather and lighter wheels/tires you're in the low 5s or better.

Newton’s Second Law dictates that the force on an object is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration. So, increasing your wheel size will decrease the driving force from your wheels which will culminate in a decrease in acceleration of said wheels. Calculate the torque value of your wheel. The torque value is constant, which means if the wheel radius changes, the driving force acting from the wheel must also change.

@johnhahn8464 2.37 gears. Normal vehicle. Good fuel mileage but not good for power or hauling a trailer. This is off of Fords. 3.55 gears. Good fuel mileage and good to pull light trail loads. 4.0 gears. Not to good fuel mileage but yet can pull a heavier trailer. 5.0 gears. Really bad fuel mileage but can haul really huge trail loads.
