Hahaha when I was in college me and my roommates were all normal pretty girls and 2/4 of us entered college virgins. For boys, I’d say the ratio was even higher. But yeah... it’s not weird at all. I mean, people definitely do that, “YOURE A VIRGIN?!” thing but then they’re usually just like, “Oh, ok.” Lol. Definitely more people ARENT virgins lol, but many are. And to anyone reading this who’s a virgin... have you ever once, ever in your life, even in a movie or a book, heard someone, male or female or etc, say the phrase, “I really wish I would’ve started having sex younger.” Unless if they did it so old that it became a complex for them like 40 YO Virgin, no... no one ever says that. Lol.... there’s a reason for that. Don’t put too much on it, but don’t rush it haha. Or whatever you want to do... just be safe & smart!

But I think it also has something to do with the audience a book tries to appeal to. Because obviously most people who would read the book are into reading in general. So it's not only because the author loves reading but also because it's an easy way for the audience to relate to the protagonist.

15:12 Dylan: *sarcastically* "it makes sense to make out with another guy... as a morally astute person" that's one of the core things I hate about this movie. they completely disregard her whole character through out the whole movie. and she is literally the protagonist!! its like we were introduced to the main character and learned what she is like just to act like it didn't happen and never speak of it again cause now suddenly she is someone else entirely. and why? for sex scenes. that's why. clever story, really clever

I’ve always loved Dylan’s content and I’m not saying he’s terrible or should be cancelled, but the low key sexualizing of lesbians he does in his videos sometimes makes me a little uncomfortable as a lesbian
