Wifi is the biggest issue in Puerto Escondido at the moment! There’s very few places with stable internet; cafe Amarisa inside Selina hostel is the one spot that I know has reliable wifi and that’s where I got most of my work done everyday. If you want more privacy, your best bet would be looking into getting a membership at a coworking space! They are pretty affordable :)

Because we don’t want it to be discovered! That’s why we called it “Escondido”. What percentage of Mexican families do you really think can afford a Tulum vacation for 4? We don’t want the same to happen to the left coast. Bros can go to Cancun/Tulum all day long! Take it! It’s yours ! Also, from POC to POC, let’s not “discover” people ☮️

Oaxaca is one of the places that still hides paradises, even unknown by the mexicans themselves, although recently they have begun to be discovered (and I'm not just referring to Puerto Escondido). In addition there are still other hidden paradises in Mexico that few know and will stay that way until the moment they make themselves known to the world, I know of another but it is a secret haha

I agree! So many hidden gems out in Mexico! Although I’m glad Puerto Escondido is starting to get discovered because it’s truly a paradise.
