I know many women who come to Islam through their own logical thinking and search to be closer to our Creator. This man vs. woman way of thinking takes away the balance that Allah has given us through the Quran and Hadith. Men and women are each respected and given their rights as Allah sees fit and this new “red pill” ideology has been seeping its way into revert men and creating doubt and fear in the women who want to stay true to the Quran. KZitemrs and Dawah channels should be careful allowing (any) reverts who have not studied and lived their Deen for very long to speak in public channels because they end up guiding other new reverts down the wrong path and further from Allah.

They are good brothers masha’Allah and I’m sure that they will correct the situation in a good way.

I 100% agree with you. I had the same reaction. This idea or saying of his comes from Christianity. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 NIV 34. Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

The claim is absolutely ridiculous. I’m a born Muslim. My father is a revert and my mother’s side of the family are all Muslim. I was brought up reciting the Quran however due to where I live in the West it has been hard to engage with Islam. But ALHAMDULILLAH, Allah (swt) found me and guided me and my life has been better since. This is not the work of a man. No man is the reason for my connection with the Almighty. Does our beloved book not say, “You surely cannot guide whoever you like ˹O Prophet˺, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are ˹fit to be˺ guided.” Surah 28:56 Perhaps a male influence can encourage Islam (e.g a father or grandfather) but he will never be the sole reason any woman has a connection with our creator.

? As a woman that was born Muslim, I strengthened my faith and took Shadada on my own WITHOUT the influence of a man, not even my father. My father cried when I told him because he was in disbelief and shock. If women didn’t have the logic capabilities of understanding the Qu’ran then we wouldn’t be responsible for our sins like pre-pubescent children. Additionally, our husbands’ and fathers’ would be responsible for our sins. As you said, this isn’t Christianity. There are plenty of examples of when the wife went to Janah and the husband didn’t. 9:31 I am Christian and I genuinely confused about this because I never heard anything so false? If this were true, we wouldn't have nuns (who live with just other nuns) who set their lives apart to be solely devoted to God. And for non-ascetic individuals, both men and women have access to God, both men and women pray to Jesus Christ. Not every Christian marries a Christian and the Bible speaks about this. 1 Corinthians 7:12-14 says "If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband." Idk why but your videos get recommended to me and I like how concise you speak and I listen because you speak what is true to your religion which is countercultural to a lot of things in today's society. But I would appreciate if you speak truthfully on Christian doctrine and practice.

Sneako feels to me like he isn’t the most informed on some topics in and out of Islam. BUT he is human, I feel anyone in Islam with a platform is put up on a pedestal and expected to be a Sheikh. And unfortunately for our Ummah this idolizing (yes idolizing, Astaghfirullah) of our influencers is causing major rifts and divides. We as Muslims are falling into the same problems as the Kaffirs, and by that I mean we are practically mimicking their forms of media and entertainment, and following videos of arguing as Speakers Corner, Dawah videos with confrontational non-believers, and other clickbait types of conflict based media. So many back and forth call outs of channels. I think I have to finally make a video to address is, because I don’t know if it’s even realized or if our Ummah is so normalized to it that they don’t even recognize it in their faces.

That is a very weird thing to say... any person, women or man, can get closer to Allah without any interference from someone else. Sometimes we go through trials and exams sent by Allah to make us get closer to him and have a deeper connection with him. Did that include a man? no. A non-muslim women can get signs from Allah to be a Muslim and start searching on her own and become a Muslim. I truly do not get the connections he talked about...

PS I never NOT believed in God and in the Islamic ways, but it was SO rough on me. My parents were Muslim but not strict. Respect women, period. It doesn't matter what the Quran and Hadith say because obviously, the Quran and Hadith both value women MORE than men. But, if you are a REAL man, you would unconditionally respect ANYONE regardless of their gender/sex. My mom is a woman, my sister is a woman. I love and respect them (even my sister who's younger to me by 7 years) because I can't imagine a loving family like I have right now without them, Alhamdulillah. Every man who is disrespecting women or criticizing them unconstructively can't deny the fact that they were born from a woman. Doesn't matter whether your mom loves you or not. It might be the case for you but, still, your mother is your best companion in this world. You'll understand her value after she's gone. Our prophet (SAW) said that the mother comes first (3 times) before your father when it comes to whom you should serve more. Bayazid Bostami climbed hills to fetch water for his mother who asked for a glass and then fell asleep again, forgetting completely about it. Respect women. If you do that, then they'll have the haven to become true women, better wives, mothers, the foundation of society. The Western world is seeing womanhood as a joke and it's the men who are responsible. The society built by men has set such standards that compel them to become immodest and stray further away from God. It's the men who are responsible for the better lives of women. Men and women complement each other. This is a partnership, and that's what Allah (SWT) and our beloved Prophet (SAW) have ordered us to do. May Allah give you that ability, whoever is reading this. (ok looks like most of what I said is already in the video 😅)

Influencers need to be careful with what statements they put out because they can have an affect on people who look upto them. Making such false claims seems a bit devlish as a way to maybe misguide. Islam is not a cover for you to hate women or to take control of them infact Islam is the religion that gives women the most respect as equal as men. Men have more rights over their womenfolk which is true but for the right reason and not be manipulative with it. Allah needs no one to guide a person and it is upto Allah whoevers heart he wishes to turn no man has any hand in that to quote on quote "Needing a man to find God"
@Anon-uv9mj

Some person can be the means but guidance is not dependent on them. Allah is not in need of any shaykh/man. He guides whoever He wills to guide. So that has nothing to do with gender. Upon the people is to convey, it is not by their permission that the hearts soften and the eyes start to see.

The Islam my mother gave me will live on long past her and it has nothing to do with it coming from a man. My mother’s Islam came from her parents and Allah, mine came solely from her and Allah, and fortunately or unfortunately my child’s Islam will also come from me (a woman) and Allah. Every body and their father talking about women and what’s wrong with them but nobody wants to fix the problem plaguing our forever “struggling” men. If you know you know.

Yep. I did take the shahada on my own. At first I didn’t even take it and I was calling myself a Muslim and wore a headscarf(I didn’t know what shahada was, but I believed in Allah and his final messenger Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Salam. I was reading Quran from my phone, not in order. Then Allah led me to get some books and booklets. Then I learned I wasn’t wearing hijab properly from one of the books and another one explained how to pray and I learned how to in a few days. I memorized 4 small surahs early on and within 3 months I was praying, wearing hijab, learned many duas that are needed daily. The first 6 months were a dedicated study on my own, with you tube and books, no music at all, no movies, no videos of other nature. This isn’t to show off, this is to say that his statement has no basis. Allah gave me Islam and many of our sisters, even the ones who were explained Islam by a man. If a heart is closed, Islam will never enter it until it happens and Allah is the only One who opens hearts. However I’d say, it’s been less than a year that he’s a Muslim. Sometimes it takes long to understand to the point of not saying what he says. I hope the brothers take a more serious effort into explaining Islam to him, then the rest, as always, is up to Allah, and sneakos effort to understand. May Allah guide us.

Lets just clear it up. Women don't need a man to come to Allah. Many women in relationships are better Muslims than their husbands. The logical reason anyone can come up with as to why Muslim men can marry other people of the book, but muslim women can't is because; A muslim man in that relationship is held accountable for treating their wife right. And men are physically stronger than women. Whereas if a muslim women marries a man of the book who isn't muslim. Then how can we be so sure that the women who should be protected will be protected by this man who isn't muslim. A muslim man, however, has Allah and the true religion and other muslims who will hold him accountable. And the Muslim man, if oractising Islam cannot hurt his wife.

Secondly, these types of shallow remarks undermine the intelligence of our women. As though the beauty of the Quran cannot impact the woman’s heart. Alhamdulillah they pray, read the Quran, and follow the rules of Allah. I have never met someone who has such a strong faith and knowledge about Islam as my mother and aunt which teach others to read the Quran and abt Islam atm. My father died of cancer when I was 5, but this did not weaken my faith either, which I pray strengthens every day.
