Rented one of these to drive from Omaha to Dallas for family reunion. I didn’t understand minivans but I do now. Sleeper because they are faster than you think. You can put 4x8 sheet in out of weather and never have to worry about how many passengers you have. Highly underrated but when I was on road trip you start noticing how many are actually out there. Another tip is not just for kids but for people taking care of seniors. Easier to get in and out if and plenty of room to stretch. Laugh as I blow away your Highlander at the stoplight.

There's absolutely no competitor to a minivan when it comes to interior space. Minivan gives you the best interior space and utility. Even a full size V8 SUV doesn't come close to it and gives you a shitty 3rd row with 100k price tag. Minivans aren't cool, but practicality has no competitor

The title is deceptive. I clicked the video to get a detailed point by point analysis of why minivan is better than SUV (mechanistically, and perhaps some dirt road tests) but it turns out to be a boring epilogue of car beauty, blending of chrome mouldings, interior quality, and USB ports. Waste of time and dislike.

I'm back. I haven't had time to watch and comment on your videos, but I usually tend to focus on the vehicles I prefer, or see something nice I like. Unless I need 4 wheel drive, if I need the passenger, or more likely cargo capacity, I would take the Sienna hands down over a full sized SUV, or the other 2 vans mentioned. But I would get an SE, which I would imagine has a slightly more stiffer suspension. I am not sure if the Sienna comes in an XSE trim, but I know the SE with all the options is pretty much fully loaded. The Honda Odyssey is really nice, but the transmission is probably it's Achilles Heel more than anything, and I would not even consider the Chrysler or Dodge vsnd for reliability, durability, and longevity. The Sienna has lots of power and pickup, and looks decently nice. Even better as an SE for me personal tastes. I like the wheel and tire size, with enough with, and not too low profile tires. The design and functionality, and seating and storage configuration is superb. Dies it also have another glovebox below the one you showed? I remember seeing something with two glove boxes, but don't recall what it was. I really can't complain much about the dashboard controls and such. Two rear front seat map pockets, connectivity, even in the middle and rear seat area, and a CD player, USB and auxiliary audio input up front. Just no Android Auto, since you only mentioned Apple CarPlay. But I could live with that. Otherwise, pretty much everything I would want and need. I would pass on the AWD, because I wouldn't need it here in Hawaii, less cost, complication, and maintenance and repair cost.

Disclaimer: If you are TOWING BIG get the large SUV. If you are carrying DIRTY and HEAVY PAYLOADS and/or TOWING XTRA LARGE get a Large Pickup. Otherwise as a cleaner cargo/luggage and/or people carrier, the minivan is really the way to go...soccer mommy looks or not. You can still tow smaller trailers. THESE MINIVANS have more interior carrrying space in cubic feet (150!) than ANY SUV EVER MADE, including the Ford Excursion. When the middle and rear seats are not in use, 8 x 4 sheets will also fit in flat. In my case, since I keep vehicles until they fall apart, the Sienna would be choice 1 and the Honda #2. THAT'S IT. The Sienna? Because it would probably last longer. The Honda? It is the better driver's car, more fun and slightly quicker too. However, I will buy a used 7 - 10 year old one with low miles and turn it into an RV Camper by removing all seating and most interior plastic pieces aft of the driver/passenger seats (except for doors) and have that replaced with 1 inch insulation as well as making removable insulation for the windows.

I think the Kia Sedona LX+ and SX trim is executed better than the Sienna in nearly all area at that price point Sienna the seats that jump seat is tough.. Sedona all seats are decent.. 5 seated with 7 exlarge luggage, 3 carry on and 2 back packs, MPV's swallow that up with room to spare..

I drive a Ford Flex and that is specious and convenient, but if the price of the Sienna was the same, I would def go for that. But 30-40K euro for a 2020 model with 150k km's is a lot of money.

Toyota has been kinda slow with the updates for the Sienna. This 2020 model doesnt look a whole lot different that my 2005. Hopefully they bring it up to date with the 2021.

Leah MacDonald Toyota warning NO, don't buy a Sienna. I paid full price new 47,500.00, at 20,000 km had to replace transmission (a rebuilt on warrenty) and at 89,000km had to replace engine. Paid 8000.00 for a rebuilt when I picked it up they giggled and said " I am just here to take her money". Problems with sliding door sensors, you end up using them on manual. Issue with water pump, huge blind spot when driving.

I just looked at your classic video. Love how you walked everyone through the features. I have a Toyota CHR used 2018. Bought it in 2020 from Toyota STX here in the U. S. Virgin Islands. Where the sales representatives are AWESOME! But from last year, I'm just tired of driving in it. Not enough room, no matter how many times I adjust the driver's side seat height, it always drops back down. I love the 2020 Toyota Sienna XLE for sure. Love the room, the extra USB inputs, etc., I'm not going to keep the Toyota CHR for too long. I will love to trade it in for a Toyota Sienna XLE for sure! Great Video, Great Information with your presentation. Keep doing more whenever you can.
