I love the song, and I have to say, after 53 years of marriage, I really love your comparison of the song to love. I love my wife now in ways I never knew possible when we were teenagers. As there are layers and yes complexities to this wonderful composition, so is it with a love that endures. The key may be in what you said about challenges...our marriage and our love has had to face challenges, and each made us stronger as a couple. I have to learn this song with all of it's variations. Thank you so much.

This song to me encapsulates life itself. The bass notes highlight the highs and lows, but also the repetitive nature of life. Night follows day, the sun rises and then sets and the seasons come and go. Comfort can be found in the constancy of it all. But sadness too as new people enter your life while others leave it. The melody is the story of your life. How it builds and becomes richer and more complex with every bar. You grow up, you get married and you start a family. You learn new things, you meet new people. You walk the tightrope of living the best life you can while trying to juggle each and every part of it. You experience pure happiness, ecstasy and joy. And craziness too. And all the while, the bass notes are there. Ever present. Night follows day, the sun rises and sets and the seasons come and go. You get older. Life becomes calmer. A little clearer maybe. You wonder did my life mean anything? Did I make a difference? You wish you could play the melody again, because you realise now what the important parts were, and you’d play them better this time. But that’s not how it works. The bass notes keep on rolling, but now it’s time for someone else to play the melody.

Old ex rock guitarist here and loving the sound of your guitar. This is the only classical piece I love. I would definitely buy a recording of you doing this one on that guitar, with that beautiful sound. Not as you did then on your own but overdubbing each of the melodies for an even fuller sound. Let us know if you do it. The steel strings a good choice, gave it that squeaky live sound

As someone who have an interest in poems i'm gonna express my views on cannon in d rhetorically Canon in d is the most beautiful pieces i have ever witness. It is more than just a piece to connect two madly in love souls in holy matrimony. It is a tribute to humans advancement. for years millions of us have tackle the impossible and learn along the way. We were just neantherthals who relied on strength, but we adapt to the iron age where we use tools to cover our weakness. To the philosophers in ancient greece from Socrates knowledge and Plato wisdom they manage to understand the world slowly. To the spirit's of the vikings they manage to conquered the waves. To Newtons theory and leonardo da vinci creativity they manage to pave a path to more curious mind that have the courage to challenge what is thought to be impossible. The Wright brothers passions is what ultimately leads humanity to conquered the sky and for us to be free as the birds that flew by. To Einstein brain E=m.c² a revolution equation it may just seems like a few numbers and letters, but it is because of that few numbers and letters that we manage to put our marks on the moon, and i shall tell you as humanity continues to be curious and challenge life. One day we will be able to live among the realm above the heavens and we will be voyagers among the stars.
