Great drill, Matt. I use 4-5 boxes for my drill. Don't go as high as you did, but the drill is still awesome. Helps with feel around the green.

Looks impossible to me but I like it and will try it. I have been using a bushel basket type drill in different location which is similar but takes time and touch. Well done, thanks! Be safe!

Great drill, Matt. My problem is how much energy to impart to the ball. As a result I’m usually too short, especially if I am below the green. As others may have suggested, this will make a great drinking game! Lol

it teaches you to hit wedges at different flights - learn the flight know where it lands - know where it lands you control where it finishes ;)

@@MrShortGame I suppose it is a preference sort of technique - what you get used to... Lots of video tutorials (like bunker or flop shots) have you aim the club's leading edge at the target, then orient your stance to the left and swing along your toe line, in part, to avoid hitting the hosel. Is that something different that trying to change the apex/height of a pitch shot? It is fun to consider the different ways to do something in golf! Thanks for the great videos and interaction!

When I set up my net, I decided the shortest club I would use is an 8-iron, because of the possibility of hitting the ball over. So I worry about trying this drill.

Take full swings. Stand back and do it with a 7 iron. You must be wealthy. I’ve not seen so many pro v boxes outside a store.

Color in the sweet spot (quarter size) of your 7 iron with a black sharpie. Now try to put black spots on the logos of your golf ball hitting into a net.
