Hello from Canada! It's not only Jamaican plumbers who do shoddy work like that. You can find plenty of it up here! Not only plumbing but electrical too. A couple of years ago I went to change a lightbulb in my house and the breaker tripped. Turns out the lightbulb socket in the ceiling was wired backwards, with the metal housing of the socket live at full mains voltage (120V)! If I had touched the housing when changing the lightbulb I could have had a nasty shock! Thankfully I was able to find a decent electrician who found and fixed a few of these nasty surprises left behind by the contractors who built the house!

I hate when them use cement... You have to literally break the toilet to get it out and then when you charge the customers for the work them cry.

@@sirfixitgrant27if you place yourself in the shoes of a customer, how can customers in Jamaica make informed decisions when they don’t know which professional tradesmen in their region can be trusted (having a license is not all), and nooooooo one is willing to have standardize pricing, regardless the the amount? Expecting most average lay people to be knowledgeable about all the specs and parts for proper construction is not reasonable anywhere in the world.
