Here’s The Reason Why The Child Actor Who Helped Define iCarly Gave It All Up instagram: imthehonestboy twitter: imthehonestboy business inquires: muyhonest@gmail.com
I hope Jennette is happier now than how she was back then. She went through a lot. She was forced to do acting, she suffered an eating disorder, went through trauma on the iCarly set and Dan Schneider and also toxic relationship with late mother. Jennette deserve a much happier life and live life on her own terms.

It honestly breaks my heart that most of my childhood shows (ICarly, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, and Victorious) were all created and directed by such an evil person. It also disheartening to learn that Alexa Nikolas (who played Nicole in Zoey 101) was also traumatized during her time on Nick after she was bullied on set by Jamie Lynn Spears, and Dan did nothing to stop it and he basically smiled after Britney threatened to end her career. (According to Alexa) But thankfully he is not directing the reboot, and even though Jennette is not returning, I will always support her decision, and I am very happy to know that Miranda and the other ICarly cast members respects her decision too.

I don't know her, but I like how she & some others never let fame make her super evil despite what she went through. A parent's death is so tough.

Macaulay Culkin is the best child actor to do it? Do you even know who Drew Barrymore is? Scandalous.

Mara Wilson’s mom died while they were filming Matilda. She is grateful for Danny Devito and literally thought of him as her father. I believe was also Natalie on Mrs Doubtfire. I’m glad she retired- could you imagine the route she could’ve gone down if she didn’t?

She was my childhood crush for the longest time. I really hope the oath she's on now is one she can be proud of and brings her only the best life has to offer.

I'm glad she is doing her own thing she was my favorite person on the show and seeing her take charge just reminds me of the girl i seen growing up as a kid.

It's a shame that McCurdy and Noah Munck felt bullied to the point they felt that their time on iCarly was insignificant. Honestly their characters and the development of their characters really made the show.

My heart breaks for Jeannette. So many people like her have gone through the same things and aren’t able to speak up. I hope her story can help others!

I love Jenette and I totally understand why she doesn't want to come back. But I won't be watching mainly because she's not there anymore.

I wonder if Jeanette works BTS on the iCarly revival. I still want her to be a part of the show, but I think she would be happier BTS rather than acting.

Hollywood is just as hard on adult. So, one can imagine how cruel it is on a child.

Makes me think of the Marvel-Netflix portrayal of Trish Walker in Jessica Jones, where her mom put the financial burden on her in order to make her successful as a child star. Tragic.
