Good info, and I can totally relate to this. Taken me years to undo the tightness in psoas from a desk career (and tight calves, hams, quads, traps, chest, and weak glutes!).

Sadly, I do sit on my butt a lot. I can testify that when it gets stretched after sitting it will impede your ability to stand. It is painful. Thank you for this well demonstrated and concise post.

Or you can dig your fingers deep into the crease of your leg. Finding that tiny little muscle and pluck it, there by releasing the tension build up. It’s an instant relief sensation when done correctly.

Good video but this has nothing to do with stress. It's just a muscle that needs stretching because it's short when sitting all day.

This is the psoas injury I got the first year I opened my private psychiatric practice and I was working so hard at it and sitting crunching numbers after seeing all the patients to make sure I was doing ok and I think I was so stressed !!!! But all of us gurus on KZitem have helped me w these stretches after 18 months it’s getting a lot a lot a lot better !!!!! Thank u so much !! I haven’t given up and it’s changing a lot !! ❤
