Sir, I do agree with you. My father earned a lot in his life but most of the money was spent on the kids and wife of my deceased uncle. The eldest son of my deceased uncle got government job of his father. He was able to make a second home because his money was saved because my father had made them a home. And today, I have been earning fine in Bengaluru but I can't buy a house because of my father's mischiefs. I am not saying that I won't be able to do so, but it will take some years.

This has been my personal philosophy in life -- If your parents force you to do something and then disown you in failure then it's better to just take the risk and go against them and do what you want to do. Because at the end of the day, if you win you'll know it was on your conviction and if you fail, you'll know you tried. This is a situation where you have nothing to loose. So do what you want to do>>>> what your parents want you to do. Because if you fail in both, they'll put the blame solely on you.

Ignore them. I tried to make my mother understand that her constant nagging isn't helping anybody. Still she continues to do so. The problem is that middle class parents, after a certain period of time, they don't want to change or to keep up-to-date themselves with their surroundings. This creates a huge problem for us. So now, just say yeah yeah and mind your own business. Try to find a new home for yourself. I'm doing the same for myself. My parents didn't allow me to learn driving until the age of 28 just because they were scared. Now imagine.

It's same in 99% of middle class parents a the same way or other. They don't even believe their child even if he is taking care of them in all ways. I can't get to know what they want. I am 50 and my parents says that parents must not have faith in their child. Then why did they gave us birth. I have not asked for a penny after my 10th class. Did all my study financing myself even helped them financially whenever they asked. Was all the way with them physically & financially whenever they are hospitalized. Handling all the home finances. My wife also does everything for them despite their bad behavior. Don't even want any credits but peace, love & faith is always expected. But we are denied. Even told them many time we don't want anything in ancestral property. Don't know what they want. How can one be so selfish!

Hi Sir, Please do a video on how a wife can manage all financial responsibilities alone and save for future, while her husband is not working or loosing jobs frequently.

Your advice is correct. But there is a catch. A good athlete will succeed with a good team. But the athlete should have to basically put the effort - if he doesn't work, no team effort can make them succeed. Same way, if the child doesn't put any effort and says they are failure because of parents not helping them, that doesn't have any point then. Bad can't be made best, may be can be made average. Also there is a tendency about comparison - other parent did better for the child and you didn't do it for me etc from the children. Parents shouldn't compare their children with others and similarly, children also shouldn't compare their parents with other parents. No two people face the same issues.

Parents need to create a conducive environment for the children so that children will grow automatically. Example: If u take care of good sunlight, water, good soil, for a plant, then now flower will automatically bloom. Take care, give them small challenges so they learn decision making, give right investment mindsets, right knowledge.

We should learn from jains and baniyas they teach their children business anyhow even if they are not good at studies and other things.

If he is not a good athlete then his parents should help him buy an athletic team instead. Not pressure him to be a athlete
