Right at 1:18 when you say your job stars getting easier. I have been at my career for 14 years. It has only gotten a little easier. It is very stressful, very demanding constantly changing for me which is why its hard for me to find extra time to do anything else. I also really didn't have a steady income and it has been relatively low. Just this year, I have made the most in earned income which is nice, but still not close to 100K. All the other years before my income has been bouncing up and down. I have been between jobs many time, but that is where I had the time to invest in myself. I think I started watching your videos in 2020. It was the turning point for me to start doing something with the little money I had. I learned from your videos about investing and how to do it. It has been great. So even if I still earn relatively low income after all my years, the investing and not wasting money has helped me a lot.

The most popular investment portfolio strategies include diversification, where you spread investments across different asset classes to manage risk. Another is the growth strategy, focused on capital appreciation through high-risk, high-reward assets. Income-oriented strategies target regular income from dividend stocks or bonds. Finally, there's the value strategy, seeking undervalued assets for potential long-term gains.

I grew up poor a little while after you, and I agree. Financial education largely relied on who your parents were, since they didn't teach it in school and there was no KZitem or similar to get the basics. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family that had some business sense and then I took a couple finance and accounting electives in high school, which then turned into a Business Admin degree. I think there are far too many people in the US that don't have enough savings solely due to the lack of information that was available to them. I have pushed for mandatory financial courses in high school for a long time - even with KZitem now because there is so much misinformation on here. I hope something turns around for you and you get to find financial peace and can retire, even if you aren't fully financially free.

If your money is cash or is in a low yield savings account you are losing money to inflation. If you’re terrified of investing, start with high yield savings or a money market fund that’s currently paying at least over 4%. From there, average into a target date fund by buying a little each month. Please don’t let your fear hold you back! There are ways to be incredibly conservative and still put your money to work.

its about business owner vs employee. as business owners your income level has no limit. where as worker high end jobs limit the income or are hard to get due to lack of job creation. also though the system is naturally against small business owners. it is the BIG business sectors ANTICOMPETITIVE sectors that take in all the profits and kink up the rest of the economy due to how hard it is for competitition to enter the market. these sectors of economy choke out the small businesses make the costs too high for operation etc. there is laws against big business from abusing their market power called antitrust laws, and unfair business practices laws. this is the only real way to combat big business is to sue them and also make them do job creation when it is clear they are abusing their power.(most of them are).
