The Brazilian people are very nice, they paid attention to me all the time, when I asked for some information about restaurants, the people are so attentive that many times they take you to the place without even knowing you. And even though he doesn't know how to give you information, he pays attention to you, unlike my people who, if they don't know you, will hardly pay attention to you.

As a Brazilian who has visited Japan, I’ve experienced the same thing. I would ask for directions and people would walk me all the way to my destination. Every country has rude people and nice people, but in my personal experience the rudest people I’ve ever met were in Italy, Portugal, Israel, Russia and China. I now live in China and I can understand the cultural difference so it doesn’t bother me as much. Friendliest people probably Thailand and Australia… then again, based on my personal experience.

I recently went to Brazil ALONE. You can imagine how concerned my family and friends were. But I enjoyed every second! I visited Rio and Sao Paulo as I had little time, but I definitely want to go back and explore more. People are so nice and sweet, concerned about my safety (I swear, the word I heard the most was "corajosa", which means brave) and they tried hard to communicate with me. I visited Brazil in 2021 and I made a video about my impressions of Brazil, if anyone's curious to hear my comments, check it out. I loved the trip to Brazil and Brazil has its positive and negative sides, which I mention in my video. The best part is the beautiful nature and the friendly people, while on the negative side is definitely a lack of security and a high rate of crime which seems like a problem without a solution.

So, that first maracujá caipirinha was a completely sugarless one, that's why it was so strong, it was basicly maracujá juice with cachaça.

I love how you guys are enjoying the city and the culture by yourself, without any help, just speaking in english and trying to figure out what brazilian people are saying or what some words mean. And I would like to add some information to your audience: the "queijo minas" at 30:30 is not the awarded one. There're many types of "queijo minas" (basically each farm in the state of Minas Gerais produces its own "queijo minas", some are similar but other are quite different) and that one you bought is probably one of the poorst in terms of taste (it's kinda tasteless). People usually eat that one when they are on diet. The most prestigious cheeses are more expensive and you can find at the municipal market ("mercadão") or in specific stores that sell cheese, wines, sausages etc.

I ❤ Brasil.

Hi guys. I'm from Rio. I have to tell you one thing: you'll have to come back 10 times to *begin* knowing Brazil. Serious. Visiting Sao Paulo or Rio is a drop on the ocean. Brazil is a country of immigrants from many parts of the world, mostly Europe (Spain excluded), but also Africa and Asia. For the record, the largest Japanese colony outside Japan is in Brazil, Sao Paulo, did you know that? My mom's family is from Germany, my dad's family from Portugal, my wife's mom's family is from Syria, her dad's got some Africa touch for sure, so our kids are a mixed bag. In order to fully experience the country, you'll have to explore the various states. Brazil is many countries inside a country. The big factor is our diversity involves a very pronounced ethnic mixing, so cultures coexist and merge in a beautiful way, so everybody shares a sense of belonging, without denying their ancestors, their heritage. People don't feel pressured to live on ghettos to cultivate their culture and lifestyle, but they are called forward to share and become one, together. And that's the best thing: not just diversity, but UNITY IN DIVERSITY. I hope you can come back many times. We already love you.

Hi. I am from Brazil.I just wanted to say that we learn English at school, so talking to teenagers is easier. And a curious fact that you would probably never know, Brazil was visited by many people which makes the country very diverse, if you want to really get to know Brazil, I recommend taking a trip through all 27 states, because in each state there are different typical foods, different typical fruits, different people, different climates, and my country is not as dangerous as it is shown. We are warm and welcoming in certain states, in each state everything changes
