This is true. When I started FBA I did think I was going to make money. I had no ideal it would be difficult getting ungated in certain categories and the expense of trying to get ungated. I had no ideal Amazon was a race to the bottom in terms of pricing and I thought when I made a sell I would keep most of my profits, not having them be eaten up by Amazon and their fees. But, that was just my experience.

It was the same way for me, not to mention Amazon jumping on listings. From my experience I concluded a lot of these Amazon gurus make money from the courses instead of actual Amazon. It was rough you basically profit minimum wage .

It's frustrating that these sellers don't understand that if an item is selling well for $xxx then keep the price there because Amazon's algorithms rotate the Buy Box based on buyers location. I am doing more FBM because when prices get tanked then I'm stuck having to pay shipping again to get my items returned.

So true, there is almost no business that does not require to reinvest to grow. Is almost impossible. To get to million profit with consistent 20% profit per month without any issue, you need take at least around 4 years to get it with only taking minimal paycheck

Dropshipping is not allowed on Amazon and you have to invest a lot in ads. If you have the right contacts I would recommend WA. And reinvest your money around a year. Greetings from Germany 👋

So WDYT about something more like investing $6k initially and expecting to make $400/week? Is that realistic to have a high likelihood of success?
@MotivationLevel1000
Ай бұрын
6k is not that much you expect. It’s important to reinvest around a year and you will grow. Amazon keeps two weeks of your earnings for a few weeks before paying out. (It’s in Germany- don’t now if Amazon is doing this in the US either)
@@AmazonandeBayGuru For me my first month my profit was 800 , my inventory didn't sell out , I reinvested everything back into restocking and buying additional inventory. My product picked up some real heat on the second month( 13,661 profit) I still reinvested everything and third month, my return was 70k(35k profit ) I reinvested again!!!, now this product has been consistently been making me 55k+ profit for around 2 years, so I guess it comes down to patience and really the product you are selling. I see a lot people starting such projects, but the main issue is not picking the right product, I highly recommend at least 2 weeks of product research then start testing samples and so on.....
