I am Bilal. I spent only 2 years in Dubai from 2016 to 2018. Right now, I'm coming to Canada. But, but, but in sha Allah Dubai phir se zindagi rahi to zaroor jaoon ga with family, chahe sirf aik saal k liye hi kyun na jaoon. I want to relive all those moments of breezy windy summers, big metropolitan city feel, metro, chappe chappe pe restaurants, 1 dirham chaye with rainbow milk, and the uber-rich feel of Dubai's grandiose buildings, roads, cars, and malls. Bachta kuch nahi wahan agar family bhi saath rakhe banda, but still its worth an experience and memories.

Also you don't pay flat 50% as capital gain tax, it depends on tax bracket depending on profit you got from property. For example, 100000 CAD profit the tax will be around 17500 CAD without any cost of selling. If you add cost of selling, the tax will be lower.

East or West, India is the Best. I am in Canada from 2000. Citizen from 2004. India is growing exponentially. Try getting a job here. Kam Kamao but Family ke saath waqt bitao. Family is not growing young. Parents are in the stage of leaving the world. They need you now. Not Later. However. Money is an imp factor. If you have money here. Paid home, less money earned is also enough. As long as you can go back and forth to meet your kids all along. India Rules. MY twins go to university this year. I spent 18 years getting them prepared. Now is the time to live my life, I am 52, here is the best I feel in India. Mumbai can give you what no other country city or continent can give you. Try it.

I am waiting for my citizenship to go to US. Housing in Canada is very expensive. In US it’s 1/3rd of Canada. If I live in Canada I will be paying $6500 CAD mortgages every month for my detached house in Burlington, which is 45 mins away from Toronto. But, If I live 45 mins away from New York, I will be paying $2500 CAD for similar and better house. If you live in Canada, you just pay heavy taxes to govt and big mortgages to bank, through out your life. You can not do much, can’t travel, can’t do shopping, or afford luxury car … because your monthly budget becomes to tight.

As someone new to this channel, I appreciate the video and personal insights. I’ve lived and worked across the UK, India, Middle East, NZ and Singapore. I can personally attest that there are significant opportunities, personal and professional, in being a global nomad. This not only includes exploring significant tax and investment opportunities, but also raising children in a culturally diverse environment (without a single country or ethnicity bias). A lot of folks solely focus on the “zero tax” environment in the Middle East. I’d argue that this should rather be based on what geo allows you the best earning potential, net of taxes (ie, keep the most in your pocket). I wouldn’t like to be “bound” to any one country (personal opinion) based on travel privileges, healthcare or social security/ pension, many of which might or might not exist years down the line given the incredible debt burden most of the West is under.

Although I am freelancing yet i dont get much clients and i just thought to ask you whether you can give me some clarity in this. Can you guide me or atleast give a clear pathway of what should I do become a digital nomad.?? I have been struggling with this and i haven't got any genuine help or guidance from anyone. Can't even understand much through internet as there are lot of info. Let me know whether is it possible for us to discuss about this. I will wait for your response. 😌
@Phoenix-hm6tk
Жыл бұрын
@@IPSITA1000, appreciate your comment. Just wanted to clarify though that I don’t fit the traditional definition of a “Digital Nomad”. I’m an experienced professional in tech and have taken on different roles working across six countries. If you’re someone starting out and interested in living the Digital nomad lifestyle, you should get clarity on your monetisation model and how you’ll reach your target audience remotely. Consider joining one of the nomad communities in your region (or the region you want to pursue moving to). They’re great in also helping you network and providing additional guidance in your field. There are lots of helpful resources including visas available online (over 50 countries offer a Digital Nomad visa based on some basic income requirement). If you’re starting out, I would always suggest getting a “tax residency” in a zero tax jurisdiction like the UAE, even though you don’t need to be based there thru the year. Given most of your income will be generated online, ask yourself what’s the best location that would afford you to keep the most amount of income in your pocket without compromising your lifestyle or other aspirations. As a nomad, you can switch locations with ease every year (or multiple times a year, some of which might be dependent on your nationality). Good luck with your pursuits!

I guess it's not correct to leave Canada but it's wise to keep children atleast until they complete their 10 th or 8th schools in India . Not because of education but to be street smart . No matter what we think but India can make a child wiser in aspect of people cheating on each other .

Wonderful pros cons analysis! After hearing both of you I think (1) Medical is an important consideration, its such a domain, that one needs to have prompt attention and relief for both senior citizens and children. (2) There is a huge cost and effort barrier to travel back and forth between India and Canada, this gates extended family members to meet in person. These two points seem to be something that we cannot have a good work around. The tax law on investment property is it applicable for all the properties other than the primary property in Canada for you? If you come to Dubai, the salary you earn from here will be taxed in Canada?

Canada and US are capitalistic economies, once you move here (as PR) govt. technically owns your kids (yes I am serious) no you! if you are too conservative, you will suffer here, take my words with pinch of salt. Some parents might boasts we have given best upbringing in Canada blah blah blah but reality is nobody tells 100% truth what is happening in their lives! btw Europe I believe is better !

@0.35 mins you said after Citizenship, mostly People move to Gulf country. Not everyone. South Indians and Gujrati people move to USA. South Indians gets IT and Software, and Gujarati for business, because Canada Punjabi and USA Gujarati dominant country for Indian people migration

I would like to cover one point that some people who are working remotely right now they can live in there country without affecting their jobs and they can save more by living in their own country as we know cost of living is high in Canada compare to India. It's just my thought.
