I'm 55 years old. Having covid for a year. I started to research peptides. I was sick of feeling sick all the time. All I can say is I have nothing to lose. Not be able to use my body the way I used too is terrible. I tried everything before I tried the peptides. Nothing was working. Diet, exercise, nothing worked. Now I been on peptides for a couple of months. All I can say is that my knees do not hurt no more. My skin looks smoother. My hair looks thicker. My lungs to feel better. My fatigue is less. My sore throat is less. For me, I will continue. My doctor thinks peptides are not good for you. But my doctor could never help me get better from covid, he just said to me, that I'm getting older, and to accept old age. Told me to eat vegetables. I was never over wait. Always was healthy before covid.

Similar position, except I had a grade 3 full rupture of ATFL and grade 2's on several pheripheral systems in my ankle. Rehabed it for nearly two years with mixed results and have done one cycle of BPC-157/TB-500 and half a CJC/Ipamorelene to great effect. I certainly love the fact that it isn't introducing large doses of hormones into my system. Will definitely continue to use these solutions moving forward.

I've been running gear for almost 2 decades on and off. I messed up and stopped properly using PCT cycles a few years in. Thought I didn't want kids anyways. Fast forward 15 years. I have never been able to get any of my girlfriends pregnant. I'm nearing 40 now, 38 to be exact, and realize how stupid life is without children and family. Recently ordered a sperm test and will be going on some sort of protocol soon. To anyone reading this in their early 20s. Don't be stupid. Don't be me. Even if you think you don't want children, that will most likely change when you get older. Don't take a chance, and don't deprive yourself that choice in the future. Take PCT properly.

Stop comparing everything to steroid. The moment the masses hear that they label it a steroid and vilify it. Peptides appear to have the potency of caffeine in comparison to anabolic steroids which could be compared to amphetamines or cocaine. Give it 2 years and the FDA will approve their own peptide versions. Remember all the parents who praised and endorsed the effects of CBD on their children’s seizure disorders? The FDA advised against using CBD and parents were moving their families to states where CBD was legal. They were so adamant that CBD was the only thing that was helping their children and the general public called them quacks. Now the FDA has an approved CBD that is used to prevent/manage certain pediatric seizure disorders. The FDA has lost its credibility in recent years as they demonstrated a lack of competence during the pandemic. They have no problem mandating an experimental “vaccine” which should really be called a gene therapy that was still in phase 1/2 of clinical trials. They only ban or restrict certain substances because they denied the possibility of being an effective treatment option and now they’re playing catch up. They are encouraging the abundant use of GLP drugs and they are recommending (from manufacturer) that the medication be continued for life or weight regain is likely. There is no business in a true “cure” of disease. A good doctor will explain the treatment course to the patient and encourage individualized length of treatment options with the goal of discontinuing any medication that is no longer providing a benefit or lifestyle modifications have been created and maintained to serve as adequate care. Yes some medications are absolutely necessary for survival of patients and without lifetime treatment, death would be definite. The side effects of these GLP medications are mild to moderate for most patients but some experience extreme side effects and most immediately discontinue the treatment. They are effective and can assist in the management of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. The peptides as a class generally seem to be very safe for patients and offer a option as an adjunctive or as a individual treatment. They are certainly less potent than other hormone replacement or regulating drugs and could be used as an effort to choose a treatment that is on an increasing scale of risk. I tend to believe in the gradual, stepwise approach of treatment options. Starting with lifestyle modification and then considering pharmaceutical options that begin at the lowest effective dose and the class that is least likely to cause harm. Sometimes you need to get the “heavy hitters” involved in the process but they should be reserved for instances when the prior options provided little to no benefit. A favorite saying of mine is “There is no such thing as a biological free lunch.” Meaning that if something produces a physiological effect then it has an increased likelihood to produce undesirable consequences.

Imagine an effective solution to pain management that is not an opioid and has the potential to alleviate pain after a single treatment course. Obviously these substances warrant the same clinical testing and trials to determine efficacy and safety. Also, the people that experience chronic pain are desperate to find a solution or management option that is effective and likely has a much lower risk of addiction. The FDA is behind the competition because they are always so adamant that peptides were obsolete to already existing treatments. Kinda like when you could get PRP treatments for degenerative joint disease but it was all out of pocket and insurance companies refused to pay for the services since they lacked FDA approval. Now 5-10 years later, the evidence is growing stronger for the efficacy of PRP and the FDA is scrambling to approve the treatment because they were reluctant to do the rigorous testing and research since it is produced by the patient and the need for a synthetic or donor version doesn’t drive a profit. The fact that Vitamin D is considered a “supplement” is an error. It’s a hormone and once again, the FDA was slow to take action and perform proper testing and trials. So many companies formulate their own vitamin D products and although the FDA has a approved Vit. D product, it is mostly purchased over the counter. I’m anticipating a massive surge in the market for “supplements” that will become available in treatment options as the body of evidence is increasing in the effectiveness or (just as important), confirming the lack of evidence of benefits or desired outcomes. I believe creatine is gaining a lot of momentum in recent years and the body of evidence suggests that it has beneficial effects for a variety of health related conditions in addition to sport performance. Peptides have proven to have at least some beneficial properties and warrant significant research and development. There are an abundance of peptide choices available and have therapeutic effects for a variety of ailments. Let’s determine which peptide is most effective for a given condition and refine the results. They are likely not nearly as potent as the current pharmaceutical drugs that are used for management already although they may provide a better alternative for those who are wanting to take escalating choices in their treatment. Some people are willing to exhaust all available options to treat pain before they commit to opioid medications while others may be having terrible pain and seek acute relief. A surplus of options is an essential component of the individualized plan for the patient. I know many Americans suffer from tendon injuries whether overuse, acute or chronic that could benefit tremendously if peptides are effective in pain/inflammation relief. People experience debilitating pain that often makes exercise increasingly difficult and may cause them to avoid it entirely because of their pain.

This is exactly why I don't use peptides-they're illegal in my profession. For fellow athletes, I recommend trying standardized hot water root extract Tongkat Ali. This natural supplement helps with muscle growth and strength, reduces cortisol levels, and raises testosterone levels. Tongkat Ali keeps the body in an anabolic state and improves both aerobic and anaerobic performance. What sold me was its legality; consuming Tongkat Ali has a T:E ratio of less than 1, making it one of the best supplements that won't breach any doping policies of the International Olympic Committee.

try BPC-157 in conjunction with TB-500 to heal that up, then use ipamorelin after that on it's own to reinforce. Preferably all 3 together, but if cost is a concern, use the ipamorelin after. You'll definitely want to do TB/BPC at the same time. You can administer the injection directly into the injured spot or nearby for better results.

the study I saw referenced showed an almost 250% increase in the gh pulse peak ipamorelin combined with CJC. With CJC, 100mcg appears to be near the maximum, beyond which has blunted effect. My conclusion was, dosed properly the CJC combination is cost effective. I'm interested in the 100mcg CJC/150mcg ipamorelin dose combination.

I think that applies more to hGH injections, superphysiological hGH levels over many years It's certainly possible if say, a professional athlete was discretely using CJC+Ipamorelin extensively (or other very significant methods of GH elevation, especially Ibutamoren+CJCDAC) and had very elevated GH levels for many years. @jamesnunalee7704

Peptides are amino chains that signal normal release of hormones etc gear is endogenous hormones that shut down normal production of hormones. Peptides can increase natrual productions without messing up natrual production. Much less chance of screwing up your natrual body functions.

@Lucas_Jeffrey

I have heard of others substituting GHRP2 instead of Ipamorelin for the appetite side effect in underweight subjects Ipamorelin works on the ghrelin receptor and does stimulate appetite. But it's reportedly minimal compared to other GHRPs, and easier to ignore for those with discipline and fasting habits. Edit: GHRP2 also potentially has a greater effect on prolactin. Might cause issues with regular use (another positive for ipamorelin)

He says dares they that’s a sign of a good doctor, after he takes 80 injections of peptides? This is irresponsible and ridiculous. If you look at the literature, there are a lot of unknowns, even if there are some positives. They can exasperate, cancer, tumors, and other problems that may be dormant and only awakened by this abuse. Also, he did all that to look like a simple, average vegetarian dude that doesn’t even work out. 🙄🙄

@zachforbes3901

@@capitalgaming1897 I I disagree bro. Yeah it may act anabolic, but first of all, it's pretty much the only peptide that does, and you would be pressed to push the dosage of igf-1 without causing tumors to pop up all over your body. Nowhere near as many results as real steroids. This is why people use growth hormone rather than blasting their body full of igf-1 cancer fertilizer
@capitalgaming1897
Жыл бұрын
@@zachforbes3901 there is no peer reviewed evidence to suggest Igf1 -lr3 causes cancer. Yes it can accelerate cancer if you already have it. Common mistake of confusing causation with correlation. @@capitalgaming1897 it doesn't "cause" cancer, and I never said it does. I said it causes tumors, which it does. It causes benign tumors to sprout up all over your body in high dosages. Whether or not these tumors become malignant is a roll of the dice. That's a bad compound, we use GH because there is negative feedback loops preventing circulating igf-1 from being too dangerously high
