7:12 While the explanation was largely correct, planes CAN fly when it's hot -- a lot hotter than 104 degrees as well. Ever heard of Dubai? Phoenix? Hotter than 104 in both those places quite often. The plane's performance is affected, however, and most commercial aircraft are only "certificated" to 120 degrees F. That certification includes performance tables that tell the pilot how long a takeoff roll it will take to get airborne at various temperatures. Most Boeing jets are certificated to 126; Airbus to 127. If the temperature gets above their certifications, the planes might be physically able to fly but, because there is no performance data, it's illegal for the pilot to try, so they wait until it "cools."

@@chickengaming2149 0:23 it's not when it reaches it's cruising altitude, it's just shortly after departure when they turn the wipers off. 1:36 some commercial jets are actually equipped with a horn-like system which makes a loud noise which is actually intended for scaring away birds. 3:53 what he said here was right, but he was lacking more answers. A big part of having that spiral painted on the middle of the engine is a big benefit to scaring away birds, as birds have a tendency to fly into cave-looking things, and an engine looks just like a cave to a bird when it is spinning, but if they see that white spiral moving, it would more likely prevent a bird from flying towards it. These are just some of the things but really he just didn't provide enough detail to some important things to know so that's what I just showed you was me adding detail to it.

Taxi. When you taxi it is very necessary to see. In flight navigation is done using instruments so it is unnecessary to see. Taxi is done visually so it is incredibly important to see outside. In fact, using the Category III C Autoland ILS, the minimums to land can be 0 visibility which is not enough to taxi after landing.

@cryptofunded4719

Pilots use the windshield wipers only when speed permits, once the aircraft is above a certain speed, the wipers can not operate, or the wind may damage them, and cause damage to the aircraft. Once above permitted speed for use, the outside wind is high enough to clear the windows of any water/rain..

If your wondering about parachutes on planes The normal altitude/height in air is 40,000 ft in that altitude there is hardly and air in that altitude so your most likely to pass out that's why there is air mask in a plane in case the plane breaks in cruising altitude when that happens the pilots are told to drop to 10,000 ft where it would be easy to breathe. Sky divers jump at 10,000 ft more experience jump at 15,000ft but they where a mask to breath
