It took me 10 years bucking at God and being stripped of all pride and losing everything but my life personally and professionally before I broke down and realized that THE ONLY thing I could rely on for my every breath was God. He humbled me until I HAD NO choice but to turn to Him. I was utterly hopeless and powerless to fix the mess l had made of my life. I got out of sin, got baptized and gave my my life to Christ Jesus. Once I began to obey the Lord within 1 year He restored nearly all that I had lost during the previous 10. I will forever walk with my Lord and PUT GOD FIRST because I can do NO good thing without Him. Amazing grace indeed, I pray I never forget my wretchedness and fall into pride. 🙏🏽

My prayer has always been that God will deal with me privately before He has to deal with me publicly. We have to be so self-aware and in tune with the Holy Spirit to keep ourselves on a short leash. Holy introspection (not naval gazing) with the guidance of the Holy Spirit is so important. The Bible does say to watch yourself, to remove the beam from your own eye before you remove the splinter from your brother's. Lord, please keep our hearts humble before You.

Excellent Analysis Corey! We must understand as you have indicated in this post that we ALL can be susceptible to sin and can fall into a state of backsliding. As you have already indicated, the only thing that will eventually restore us to where the Lord wants us is to be is to admit that we have fallen, repent and allow time to heal us as we seek restoration in our walk with and for the Lord. Thanks for reminding us Corey.

I think we do a disservice to everyone when we fan over them. It’s so destructive to the person we’re fanning over, but ourselves as well. When I was a teenager and an unbeliever… my peers were going crazy over singers and actors. I actually tried to… I had my favorites but just didn’t loose my mind at concerts or movies or whatever. It seemed so bizarre to me. Especially once you learn how dark their real lives are. It’s even worse in the church. Watching people fall apart over their Pastors or leaders. So sad.

Paul had to address that in the Corinth Church. Divisions….I follow Paul I follow Apollos I follow Cephas or I follow Christ. Unfortunately the doctrine of men have a higher place than the scriptures. What was the commission? Preach the gospel make disciples teaching them everything that he had commanded. Now days we teach and debate Calvin vs arminian. Gifts of the Spirit continue vs ceased. End time events. Those are the in house issues. Meanwhile on the outside we confront the so called woke progressive and liberal groups who have embraced a new morality. May God re direct us and lead us in His Way.

I didn't read where Joseph was arrogant and that's why God had to allow him to go through what he went through. In fact in Genesis 50:20 he told his brothers that what they meant for evil against him God meant it for good. I believe it's important not to interpret Joseph's story has pride as that was not his attitude. He did suffer humiliation but Proverb 18:12 says "Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before HONOR is HUMILITY." Joseph's calling involved being honored so he went through a humility process.

I watch a lot of videos about false teachers, I recently started to see them all as examples of the things God doesn't want us to do, but that we all do in some degree. We're all sinners, just like them. So even though their sins are far more ambitious than mine will ever be, it doesn't matter. They're just exaggerated examples of what we all struggle with. If we learn anything from them it should be how to recognize that the sinful nature that's in them, is in ourselves.

Excellent words and educational, I only had 1 disagreement. When you said Jesus was the only man or human being that did not have a challenge with these temptation's. Of course we know that Jesus never sinned but we also know according to Hebrews 4:15 that we have not a Priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, (weaknesses), but was in "ALL" points tempted, like as WE yet without sin. Jesus was just always walking in the power of our Father's presence from the quality of time he spent with our Father in prayer and His Word so that He was always willing and able to walk and live in complete authority over all temptations. This was to set an example for us by Himself being our Perfect Example that we can walk, in the Spirit, in and with that same authority. For Hebrews 2:16 says He took upon Himself not the nature of angels but the seed of Abraham after our flesh that He might understand our struggles and challenges in the flesh as a merciful example, yet set the Perfect Example for us in the flesh of how we to can walk in His power and authority over ALL temptations and sin....SELAH. No pride here brother. Excellent video. Love you with all my heart!

Excellent and informative video. Only thing i disagreed on was "The only person that didn't have to worry about these kinds of temptations was Jesus". Incorrect. The bible says that Jesus was tempted (in all points ) as we are. So every single kind of temptation common to man, he fought against and was victorious. That is why He can be our great high priest of the order of Melchizedek. The greatest temptation He faced was not to go through with the crucifixion. Hence his three prayers at the mount of olives. Hence Satan's offering. You can have all these kingdoms Now - (without the suffering) - If you will only pay me homage. And Jesus said himself - 12 legions of angels were at His disposal at the click of His fingers - to stop everything and take His Kingdom right there and then. But for ( our ) sakes, for ( our ) sins - he chose to die for each one of us.

Christ was slightly different from us.. we are tempted to sin from within..& sometimes..then..thru our weakness or ignorance, we are overcome with the temptation & we allow ourselves to fall into sin..Jesus was like a duck.. with feathers upon His back..the temptation just rolled off like water off a duck's back..or that is what I have heard..& it sounds reasonable.. that was the answer to the question.."could Jesus have sinned" or "did He have the ability to sin"?

Sorry for not responding sooner. Whatever your purpose is in Christ it will always involve you being used to bring others closer to Him in some capacity. Whether it’s in music, service, evangelism, it will involve you bringing others closer to him. My suggestion to those looking to find their role in God’s service is just to start serving in any capacity that you can, and then listen for His leading. Your gifts will make a way for you and find you out. As you serve He will open doors and opportunities in His own timing. Of course you would do so while praying

it sounds like the root of the problem is actually stemmed from the family system. if we grow up in a healthy home, with healthy patterns, and healthy affirming, then pats on the back, and any forms of praise would reinforce the pattern and create healthy results. but if we were in an unhealthy home, and not given nearly enough affirming, or healthy pats on the back, or healthy nurturing, then the mind and body is still craving it, it still needs it, and that deep neediness often does end up in unhealthy situations. but as it is, now, in the american church, i have a suspicion that God never intended for the church to be what its become in the first place. was never meant to be a one man show. was never meant to be a cash cow marketable franchise. its interesting to see the differences from biblical church, to the church now when it comes to lights, camera, and action... back in the day, it really was about showing the world what God is like, so everyone would be drawn to Him, but now? the churches are too busy competing, theyre too busy creating better websites to attract the attention of new customers for their brand of jesus. theyre too busy packaging cherry picked scriptures to sell as either another teaching, or another version of their gospel for whoever is willing to buy it... inotherwords... while the church is busy with marketing strategies, the people, including the pastors spiritually, mentally, and emotionally starve to death.

This is were the fear of the lord is a real thing. I feel like when people say we can't lose salvation it lessons the severity of our sin. Our sin against God is a big deal. These pastures were real christians they really did fall away, some of them or many other pastures, nowadays have fallen away and are around the globe now, like the scripture says many will fall away in the last day giving heed to doctorne of demons. I feel like there is a place we're we can blaspheme god and lose salvation. There has to be, otherwise how will we ever take gods discapline seriously. we very well it seems could lose our salvation it's a fearfull thing to fall into the hands of God? What prevents us from falling away if we can't lose salvation, isn't it the fear of the lord? I have fallen away like this I want to be renewed but it seems like it's not possible😢.

I was listening about two weeks ago, I'm having a hard time remembering who. But anyway, there was someone that enemy was working on a plan. He had a list of names. He was working on taking out those who stand staunchly for the LORD. Also, early last year the enemy was going after Pastors and their wives and families to destroy their relationships.

Great teaching, The only thing I would add would be to quit saying it's natural. It's natural for someone who is not walking with God and has not been born again. Call it what it is Sin. It's still walking in sin. Jesus tells us that temptation will be out there. But we have to work and trust our faith and recognize that we are walking in sin and ask God to give us the strength to overcome. If God is almighty and can do everything, then why can't he help us overcome every temptation that we face.
