Got another one for you, the fuel connector going into the motor. A bad seal between the fuel line female end and the outboard male can cause fuel to leak from the connection, air to be sucked in, and the bulb to be squishy. This is happening to me on a brand new (after market) fuel hose/connector...apparently the o-ring seal is a weak point. Ever happen to you? Do you get a 'click' when attaching your fuel line to the motor intake? I don't get a click, and my fuel connector just looks like it is 'hanging off' or pulling away from the attachment. Luckily I have the internal tank that has saved me in this situation...

That’s a really good point, it’s happened to me but just because I didn’t fully seat the connector. Yeah if there is no click then that little retaining clip/leaver is holding the connector in and you get air or a leak. Good point

@@Skinnyriverthanks! made a short 45 second video to show the issue to my outboard provider. You can see how my connector wants to 'pull away'. But then I was able to get it 'clicked' into place by pushing and wiggling the line. 1st time! lol kzitem.infoinH0zxulJT4?si=7Q4nj_NPv-XI1gOA

@NinoSpinner Some people modify fuel cap of the internal tank, and Connect it to the external tank's fuel hose. However, you still need to pump the fuel with the priming bulb in order to fill the internal tank.
