3:47 - In Earth-616 continuity in the comics, Sabretooth never had adamantium bonded to his skeleton; that’s true. • • • • The same can’t be said for Earth-1610 aka Ultimate Sabretooth. If I recall correct, that version of Victor Creed not only got an adamantium skeleton, he also got teeth and nails plus four retractable claws per hand.

It has been shown, if not for the adamantium, Sabertooth owns Logan, bigger frame, more strength, just overall stronger than Wolverwine. Can see this is one of the latest stories, Wolverine needed armour, and weapons, to even have a chance with Sabertooth, as his healing factor had been stopped, then did the same to Sabertooth. But during the fight, Sabertooth was more fierce than Wolverine, and it showed quite well

Sabretooth dies of old age despite being younger than Logan and not having constant heavy metal poisoning. This video is clickbait. Ancient mutants like Apocalypse and Romulus both pick Logan over Victor with Logan having to humiliate Victor each time. In fact, the X-Men '97 cartoon is probably going to show bone claw Wolverine curbstomping adamantium laced Sabretooth to become Apocalypse's horseman of Death (aka how Wolverine gets his adamantium skeleton back).

Unlike wolverine, Sabretooth is stronger because he gives in to his primal animalistic nature due to activism. Sabretooth's mutation hs grown more faster, and more brutal. But despite this, Wolverine has beaten him on more than one occasion due to Wolverine adapting his methods of fighting his ferocious enemy like when he wore an Adamantium armor that was built by Forge during Wolverine: Sabretooth War.

almost impossible to know for sure since Wolverine is walking around with radiation from Hiroshima under the adamantium and he needs to keep fighting it every second of every day, Creed... not so much
@Neuralatrophy

I would assume the adamantium bonding didn't lock the core of Logan's bones away since your blood and immune cells are produced in the marrow, the radiation affected cells would have long departed his body otherwise he would be a minor radiation hazard for anyone around him.

It was never said anywhere that hes still carrying radiation in his body, his healing would have taken care of that right away

Sabertooth's mutation isn't more powerful; it just has an unrestrained progression because his healing factor isn't dedicated to fighting a perpetually fatal stress on his body

I always saw it like this: Sabertooth's mutation is stronger, but it's a tossup who is stronger in general because adamantium evens the playing field.

Logan's regeneration I think is stronger since its mentioned in the movies that, even though Victor was willing, he wouldn't have survived the bonding process. Strykers words.

I don't think more "powerful" is the right wording for sabertooths mutation when compared to wolverine. I'd say it's more "aggressive". Sabertooth probably would have won against wolverine a long time ago if his mutation was more powerful

Sabretooth needs a redesign. Same with lady deathstroke. Slashing with your fingernails is a good way to break them. Big cats don't slash with their claws, they grip and use their fangs to cut.

Isn’t Wolverine stronger since he survived the operation ? In the movies it’s stated sabretooth wouldn’t survive?
@rampantdiarrhoea6216

I always believed Striker never had any intention of giving Victor the operation. He was just dangling the Adamantium carrot in front of him to keep him on side. He needed Victor to do his dirty work so he promised him Adamantium and then made up an excuse for not giving it to him.

I don’t know their original X-Men series. I love the X-Men movies in general and people can make fun of me, but I have to say X-Men origins is in my top favorites. OK honestly any of the wolverine ones are my favorite set for the second one where he’s in Japan. But it’s been like I think a year so far almost to since I watched the first one and I remembered there’s a scene where Charles takes over the mind of sabertooth. Oh wait, never mind I was asked if he ever actually talks in the movie but I remembered there’s a scene I think it’s in the Statue of Liberty. He says something to storm storm. But my biggest question is I’ve never read the comic books cause I’m not the best at reading, but does a version of wolverine exist where he never has the procedure done I know in Deadpool and wolverine we see a bunch of versions of him, but I’ve always been kind of curious if there’s a version that doesn’t have the metal

Sabertooth at one time did have an adamantium skeleton. Also which universe are we talking about? We can’t combine the movie character with the comics character because these are different universes. In the movies they are brothers. In the comics they are not. We have to stick with one universe then combing them all together.

This question is very easy to answer when you look at the pre weapon x program. There was never any contest. Sabertooth is bigger, stronger, has better instincts, and his healing factor is superior. The first born always get the best genes. It's been proven irl so the comics support real evolutionary rules

The adamantium poisoning retcon is ridiculous. Why would sabertooth at this point suddenly change looks? These two are WW1 or something like that as teenagers. A better retcon if choosing poison route. Wolverine ask Magneto to remove the metal to instead be a net over his bones as opposed to completely covered. Keep the metal skull though. Heck Magneto could put it thinner instead. Roanoke has a far better explanation on what’s happening, it’s not poisoning but deficiency in nutrients. I think the movie makers just made changes to fit ideas as opposed to material driven.

I honestly think it’s the same mutation. The adamantium skeleton keeps wolverines mutation from running wild. He even looks more like saber tooth without the adamantium. More in touch with the primal side.

Interestingly, over the years, in Marvel and Star Wars media, commentaries made by fans or filmmakers come along years or decades after the release of a film to explain why the characters look and act differently in various films. It is a nice try, but the reality is that none of this was considered when the films were initially made. Tyler Main's Sabretooth is poorly written despite the actor's physical size and look. Lviv Schriber's portrayal was much better, even though he was physically smaller than the comic version, Sabertooth is very intelligent. Still, the movies have failed to show that Sabertooth easily beats Wolverine when they fight ( In the past decades). Wolverine is named after a vicious small animal that often fights against mountain lions, wolves, and bears. It does not always win, but it puts up a good fight. Logan is supposed to be small but surprisingly vicious and full of rage, just like a Wolverine. Sabertooth in the comics calls him runt and, in some versions, visits him on his birthday every year to beat him to near death for fun. I hope we get to see this in the future live-action films.
