I met Sandahl at a convention in Atlanta in the early 90's, and she had a whole room to talk to, and it was packed! And no one asked any decent questions until I asked about her history with Bob Fosse and from there, the Q and A took off! It was a great session! Afterwards, when we were in line to get our autographs at her table she was sitting, she actually got up, walked around the table, and gave me a huge hug, which I have never forgotten! I guess I'd helped get things rolling? lol! No idea, but she was so grateful she gave me two autographs and another hug! It was priceless and I really hope she is doing well to this day! The one exception was when she had broke into the cannibalism party and she blocked the sword of a guy at least twice her weight. That should have been when she pivoted using the downward force of his monster sword to enhance the speed of her spin to take his head off from behind. The only fight choreography that I didn't like, and the fix would have been much more spectacular.

The most notable thing about Sandahl, aside from her being tall, athletic, and drop-dead beautiful, was that she was polite, gracious, friendly, and cooperative whether the shots were candid or staged to look candid. The same could not be said for every attractive person I got to photograph. It's so nice when someone like Sandahl Bergman can wear their gift from God beauty so gracefully. I met Sandahl at the 1996 World SF Con in LA in 1996, she had a limb in cast w3hich kept her out of films for a while. I spent most of the time talking to Paul Mantee & Victor Lundin, stars of Robinson Cursoe On Mars (which like First Spaceship On Venus aka The Silent Star - 18 min longer, was eventually to be a cult hit in England), Sandahl was a lovely woman, and more attractive in real life.

She did a great job and omg she was absolutely gorgeous. She still is! As far as I was concerned she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Now I know why I didn’t I never seen her. I just never watched any of the movies or shows she was in besides the 2. Conan and Red Sonja. I was a young teen and it just wasn’t anything in my realm at the time. Conan will forever be etched into the Top 3 movies of all time for me, not only being a somewhat faithful recreation of the source material, but also being epic, cool, sweet and even full of wisdom. Until the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, this movie was the gold standard in fantasy epics, but for me, it still is. Since the video is about Sandahl... I just say, that she was absolutely stunning in this movie and a role model for strong and independent women all over the world, with a warmth to her performance that was just slightly overshadowed by how cool she was! This movie has nothing bad at all, it is pure bliss in my opinion and I will treasure this movie for all eternity!
