HI there, firstly, I want to say that ALL the dozens of other dog training youtube channels I had subscribed (before I met yours) - are all unsubscribed because YOUR channel, I truly believe, is the only channel I need. Your force-free methods align with how I feel dogs should be treated. This morning at 3 am when I woke, worried about my current foster dog, I scrolled through all your uploads and found something called the absolute beginners guide (I think it was to leash walking) - I would LOVE it if you would more of these "absolute beginners guides" that would address other issues. I feel like I'm truly the only person who really doesn't know a thing about dogs - most people know quite a bit already - I've NEVER had a dog before last year, and really didn't know anything about a dog, other than which end you feed and which end you pick up from - and that's it - as my goal is to foster, rehabilitate and rehome (as many times as I can), ANY of these "absolute beginners guides" would be just amazing - already what you have has helped me a lot, but shelter/rescue dogs, especially those who have suffered abuse, are different from puppies that people raise, where they know the dog's background. My poor Sami is still traumatized - most of the time she's super happy but for example, a few minutes ago, I saw an iguana on the lawn and ran out, clapped my hands at it, (with sami at my side) and the next thing, Sami has dropped to the ground, whimpering, crawling away in terror (from my clapping), head turned round to the side as if to protect her head (she's blind in one eye), and it broke my heart - I forget that she has these terrible demons inside her, and sometimes the simplest thing, from using a purple rag to wipe a window, will send her into these terrible stances, crawling away in terror. Goodness knows what happened to her, her hind legs haven't developed, she was kept in a cage to breed, so any experience she's had with people and dogs has been awful - and it's my commitment to her to make her a happy girl, happy with me, happy with the world, and any of your absolute beginners guides would REALLY help me. Thank you for your FANTASTIC videos, and the most wonderful way to train dogs. I wish I'd come across you last year, but there are so many hundreds of dog trainers on youtube that for some reason, I never found you till now, and am grateful for all you do and your training methods. THANK YOU

First- that is the nicest comment I have ever gotten! ❤️ Thank you! It actually choked me up a bit to read! Second, I’m very impressed that you’re working so hard to learn & better your skills so you can help your fur baby! To admit you went in knowing next to nothing about dogs but be so committed to learning & helping is admirable! I love your idea for absolute beginner guides!! Building on the basics is a great way to start a solid foundation 😊
