You're completely right! Having a house in skyrim is convenient, but breezehome feels the most cozy because of the environment.

One thing I absolutely love about Skyrim is the complete unrestricted freedom you have. From the moment you exit the tutorial, the world is your oyster. You can go anywhere you want do anything you want and do it however which way you want to do it. Truly it’s a world of near endless possibilities

Skyrim doesn't have cut scenes. Set piece moments happening in real time is beyond immersive. I just realized this and I still play Skyrim. No cut scenes, so to maintain immerison is the reason I love Skyrim.
@CameronKiesser

Yeah I like the real time events. I also rather have loading screens than tight "loading zones" to crawl through. I don't like how modern games have you crawling or slowly rowing a boat to go to places. Cutscenes are also put in games to mask loading.

I’m on my third play through and I still find places I’ve never been, people I’ve never met, and quests I’ve not done. To me it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I agree with you the intimacy and coziness feels quaint and homelike. The first homes I get are the two in Whiterun. Wonderful analysis. Subbed.

As the Nocturnal Rambler said "Skyrim is a game that is a mile wide, but an inch deep." However, there are two things that Skyrim works well as - As a novelty and as a game engine. The latter especially as the modding community makes this game infinitely replayable.

I love Skyrim. But have MANY, many flaws... Even the previous titles like Oblivion and Morrowind have superior aspects. But you love something not for being perfect, you love because you accept the bad parts as well. Still have a soul and charm. *It just works.*

Everytime i play Skyrim my adventure is different. Sure, the quests are the same, spells and weapons don't change, but its how i have the freedom to utilise the tools and choose when to do quests which build a different character everytime. Its almost like the same world but a parallel universe where my adventurer is completely different. That gives Skyrim the replayability for me. I have to mention mods and VR Skyrim enhance the game to another level.

The fact that the game still has a sizeable community of players and modders dedicating time and effort to it is enough of a statement. That's passion.

The VIBE is the best part, Bethesda games are at their best when the worlds feel DREARY, (Fallout 3, Skyrim). Almost like there's a feeling of hopelessness to a world, which makes it beautiful.

Great video. Also, many immersive-sim-lite systems create unparalleled immersion. In Skyrim, you can pick up anything you see. Guards will react to what you do and wear. You can loot anything an NPC has (this blew my mind the first time I played Oblivion). Other game worlds, like The Witcher, and Hogwarts Legacy, feel like theme parks or theater sets in comparison.

Skyrim may be small (as in not gigantic) but it’s very dense. Everywhere I turn there is something of interest.

I used to love skyrim and then recently tried replaying it and realized how bad it actually is now that im no longer a easily impressed lil kid. The dungeons are all the same, the puzzles are too boring, characters are dull and uninteresting. Other than the theieves guild, all other guild quests are boring and have wayy too many fetch or kill quests. Sidequests are almost always bad as well. Anything other than stealth archery will put you to bed.

actually the bugatti example was not true, since bugatti actually lost money on each car they sold due to very high RND costs which made the car so reliable and performant, they only really started making money with the chiron series etc still get your point tho
@cosoman
Ай бұрын
True, although i'll add that the Chiron was built of the back of the intense R&D they conducted during the veyron phrase. So it's hard to disintangle the profitability of the Chiron, and unprofitability of the Veyron.

vanilla skyrim is trash. heavily modded skyrim is barely playable. I'm that guy who went mod crazy. you cant fix all the flaws in the game even with 100 plus mods running. trust me I've tried.... now I pretty much just play dressup with the female npcs in skimpy outfits and make them have " relations" with one another. my skyrim is better than pornhub
