Thanks Jessica. Was about to buy a 600 bag but clearly a 350 will fit much better across my back seat without the ends sagging. Appreciate your informative video.

I have had a SW Motech Dry Duffle 35L and 18L for about 3 years now in Vietnam and it's simple and haven't leaked. I will need to replace my 18L at some point, but a few things I would mention. The OEM bucklets aren't as secure if you go offroad so I use a set of ROK Straps. And I find while it conforms to the shape of seats/racks it can rub or become vulnerable to punctures on the bottom as well as not compress uniformly on the top. So I added 2 picecs of kydex for a firm bottom and to allow the straps to evenly compress the top. Cụt the pieces to 3/4 on bottom and 1/2 for the top of the diameter of the bag to allow the it to conform. Make sure to round the corners and sand the edges with different grits of sandpaper.

Great info! My only ask would be for the buckles be male on one side and female on the other. So you can buckle them together if you're not using bags or as a strap to hold something as well. Thanks!

Nice summary, thanks. They look like great products...I have the Trax Adventure hard cases with the QD mounts featured in this video, and they’re superb, so I’m hoping these drybags are of similar overall quality...good points about carry on size, and connection to other bags

The DRYSPEC D28 would be a good waterproof choice with plenty of lashing points: twistedthrottle.com/shop/luggage/tail-bags/dryspec-d28-dual-end-waterproof-motorcycle-dry-bag-black-grey-orange-28l-total/

How do these SW-Motech compare to the DrySpec line you have been selling for years? they also include mounting straps and attach to each other.
@twistedthrottle

Both brands are designed specifically for motorcycles and to strap to other bags within their brand. DrySpec bags are designed and made in the US and the D38 was the first rigid dry bag on the market. The DrySpec D20 saddlebags work as a modular system with the D28 and D38 whereas the Dakar saddlebags from SW-MOTECH, which are also waterproof, do not have a way to strap to SW-MOTECH's other dry bags. SW-MOTECH offers more sizes and shapes of dry bags including tank bags and backpacks made of dry bag material. Plus they offer very large dry bags, much larger than any of the DrySpec bags. As with any motorcycle accessory, take a look at your bike and your needs and shop for the products that best fulfill them. Ride well Chris Sumner.
