Go look up employment rate vs unemployment rate. You are using totally wrong statistics here. Also stuff like poverty linking to crime is a bit silly woke stuff. A 30 year old Somalian refugee with criminal background is certainly not to going to be in the upper middle class. Yes he is likely to be in lower class and he is more likely to commit crime, but Sweden is not going to be able to convert him from a hobo that can't swim or read to becoming a doctor are they?. I am not saying you are painting a rosy picture of the situation in the woke sense here but the situation is much worse than you try and explain in the video. Like try and get the data for EMPLOYMENT rate(totally different than unemployment rate) between non European asylum seekers and refugees, and even 2nd and 3rd generation born from them compared to white Nordic people, and far lower than even 1st generation European immigrants. Non European people will not likely get to half of the employment rate of natives. Just the women of non European migrants are almost out of the equation to becoming part of the workforce, let alone the men who just don't like Europe and feel they are entitled to no work but still make a living. It is not even close. Let's put it simply. Say Unemployment rate in Sweden is 5% and unemployment rate in Qatar is 4%. Then people will actually assume that Swedes are so lazy they don't work as much as Qataris. But then when you look at the employment rate, then the story is totally different because the women in many non western countries are not looking for job and therefore not registered unemployed, but that does not mean that they are employed either.

50k before 50% tax
@darekwroblewski1090
Күн бұрын
@@filmopfil I just had to google this to verify it. On $50k worth of swedish krona, you're looking at $36k take home, meaning a tax rate of about 28% on that specific amount (they have tax brackets). If you want to compare this to the US (still working with $50k) you're looking at: No state tax (like Texas): $39,867 take home With state tax (like New York): $37,667 take home So the tax at the $50k amount is probably more comparable between the US and Sweden than you would've thought.

I remember being in sweden in 2016 and at that time I wondered how any of this was going to work. Swedes for the most part are a reserved group of people who value social harmony and a collectivized society. People are skilled in many different services areas and look rich. Politeness and manners are also respected. I was in a town of 50,000 people and remember getting on a bus to go to Stockholm and most of the bus was migrants/asylum. Some were respectful but many others were extremely loud on the bus, playing music and parents didn't seem to be making any real attempt to make their children behave. Good enough, he will get deported because to stay there based on work permit, you need to earn more than 80% of average Swedish salary that increases every year, contrary these refugees don’t have such ability to earn and stay. Here, question arises how are they staying, its simple they are either on asylum permit or transitioned to permanent residence after living as asylum seeker. This loophole is closed and you can’t get permanent residence with asylum status, and a lot of more laws are coming in Sweden. It would be better if the government will revoke permanent residence to people who got it through asylum and clear the country from invaders

The situation in Sweden is much worse than this video is showing. There are are almost every point in this video that I wanted to touch on. But especially. Yes it is shocking to see how much more unemployed the non-EU migrants are compared to natives or European immigrants, but this is only 1/10th of the story. You need to look at EMPLOYMENT rate, not UNemployment rate. Example: A asylum seeker or refugee is not working, but he is not unemployed either. Only people looking for work are registered as unemployed. Say a man comes to Sweden, he gets family reunification. His wife, sometimes 3 wives, 10 children. The wife has never worked in her home country and has no interest in working in EU(half of refugees and asylum seekers from Middle East have never worked even before coming to Sweden). The guys parents are being "persecuted" so they come to and his brother. He gets married to a woman in Syria and brings her and she has a sister who is lesbian and therefore persecuted. Chain migration. There is probably only 1 person in this entire clan actually working. Employment rate among nordic people is around 90% or more. Even down to 15-70 years old it is still above 80 percent(notice 15 years old here, kids working while not in college is counted here and people at 70 year old that would have long time retired in most of Southern Europe and it is still around 80% or so. I could go on and on with the poverty and that breeding crime etc which is of course nonsense. But this video is totally off the chart when it comes to reality on the ground.

Poverty has absolutley NOTHING to do with this, they get free education, money, healthcare. EVERYTHING you need to build a healthy life. The problem is a culture clash and the way these people are raised by their parents. We could give them twice of what theyre getting now and they would still do the same as they are today. These people are unfortunatley flawed in their core. I truly wish it was a problem with poverty because then you can actually solve the problem. When I lived in Sweden, every single time I was groped, cat-called and offered money in exchange for s*x by complete strangers on the street, it was always an Arab man doing it. There were dangerous no-go zones and women were advised to stay indoors at night. I’m from Finland so this was quite the culture shock. Also, the person who was officially in charge of Swedish culture/heritage was an immigrant who admitted to not knowing anything about Swedish culture.

It's very simple and has nothing to do with racism or religion. Migrants from middle east had 10 or more years to make integration into society happen. So those who has completed language exams, pay's average tax contributions and has no criminal record is welcome to stay, regardless of religion or skincolor. If this is not the case, it is time to leave. It is three fair conditions, that every person willing, would be able to acomplish in 10 years. It is however quite weird to see, that Chinese, Thai and other asians can compelte those three tasks often in 6 months to a year, when others can't do it in ten!

Malmö has however in the last 5 years seen much lower gang crime than the other big Swedish cities and actually improved by quite a lot. In my experience - Malmö is kind of the OG immigration city in Sweden and people are generally more integrated than Stockholm or Gothenburg suburbs because Malmö is mostly comprised by immigrants that came between the 1980s to early/mid 2000s, and not so many of the new arrivals in the 2010s (they famously didn’t take many migrants that came in 2015, because they were already “full”). The biggest chunk of those 46,7% foreign background people is mostly Balkan people, followed by Arabs (Mostly Iraq, Assyria and Lebanon) that came to Sweden early and have established themselves here - also a ton of Slavic and Danish people in those statistics too and many that have at least 1 Swedish parent so Malmö is still about 80% European. So not many new Syrians, Afghans and Somalis that live in Malmö because these groups came in the late 2000s to 2010s. Something I think is noticiable when visiting Malmö compared to Stockholm or Gothenburg for example. Malmö is not perfect, but not as bad people paint it out to be.

Unlike its neighboring Scandinavian countries like Norway and Denmark and Finland, as all three countries were invaded by the Nazis Germans. What does the Swedish government of today do ? They bring in thousands of Muslim refugees from the Middle East countries of Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan, etc..to a Nord8c country they know nothing about. They don't know the Swedish language nor about Sweden's culture that the native Swedes are so proud of. They, the Muslim refugees, didn't even know the 3 Scandinavian countries have Indigenous people living there called the Saami or the Lapps living in the far north of those countries. No, these Syrians and Iraqis and Afghanis knew nothing of these people. Only the native born Norwegians and Swedes and the Finns knew about them in their home country.

Making it all about socioeconomic is to simplify things too much. Sweden have one the worlds most generous welfare systems and as a immigrant, you can get, in extreme cases, $4100 USD/month in welfare checks ON TOP of free housing. This also MONEY that you can spend however and on whatever you like, INCLUDING sending back to your family in your homeland. So to blame the increasing crime rate on poverty is, to put it simply BS! What these "researchers" constantly forget to take into account is that MANY of the new immigrants neither have any interest NOR have any intention of integrating. They even state this clearly themselves when asked. What these researchers together with previous policy simply refuse to take into account is that many people that come from MENA countries simply don't all of a sudden become "democratic" and "secular" in there world views. We can see this on our streets, especially after October 7. Instead they make demands that Sweden and Swedes should yield to more authoritarian religious doctrines and disavow all in general and the state of Israel in particular. Many, however, of course not all, of the immigrants have come to Sweden to either live on welfare but mostly also involve themselves in criminal activity. This have been stated as a fact by the head of the Swedish Police, the Secret Intelligence Police (SÄPO) and by researchers at the Swedish Military Academy and THIS IS THE reason for the changed policies and WHY Sweden now strive to both revoke Swedish citizenship obtained by foreign criminals (which up until now is impossible) as well as deport criminals without citizenship (which has up until now NOT been the norm by previous governments and the courts). Sweden will also strive to make sure that if you come here as an immigrant, you remain in a asylum camp until your case is decided instead of as it is now, you can go and live wherever you want and get your rent paid and get welfare money.

Sweden was never good at integrating people. We were always inefficient and we just threw money at the problem to make integration work, but it was generally inefficient and slow. This issue was pushed to the forefront once the system was strained post-2015. Logistically we did not have enough teachers and social workers to integrate all the migrants following the syrian civil war and the fact remains that the right political parties have brought this point up successfully, but the left has chosen to just fight them on it, instead of accepting that this was a logistical issue and instead of admitting fault and trying to improve, we've been having a fight between the right and the left going back before 2015 without any coherent future vision.

One of the biggest issues right now that's occurring in the UK and the USA is the people who are born & raised there are deeply struggling to get by but no one is doing anything about it. While at the same time seeing that their nation is providing anyone who shows up from somewhere else with whatever amenities that they need to get by. All while those individuals aren't required to work. Where the people who were born & raised here in no way get similar treatment. In fact they get the gross opposite type of treatment as that and the government thinks nothing will come from that? That someone could only be frustrated by that if they are racist? That is where the UK government and the American government are terribly wrong) People are frustrated with how much they struggle to get by nowadays. Sidenote related to current UK & American refugee situations. Anyone on any side should be arrested if they break the law, that shouldn't even have to be said? This isn't about "racism" even tho the UK politicians & media are dead set on that being the reason.. the UK people have been multicultural forever. The American people have been multicultural forever as well. This is the government failing so much. The government is failing to take care of their own people & now they are hyper focusing on these hot button talking points, arresting people for social media comments? They should have come out and made it clear that they will treat anyone from any side with equal response if that person breaks the law but they didn't do that. They have instead come out and publicly stated that they are only considering one side as the bad guys and will only punish one side. How do they think that won't create WAY more division than what little might already have existed?? It's actually insane how much the government & media is coming at this like anyone who is stressed is racist.. Most people are not racist at all and have lived in a multicultural environment most of all their lives and were raised to accept anyone of any backgrounds as long as they are a decent person.. This crap is absolutely Absurd with how many people are so easily convinced a person is racist, or a white person isn't a good person (it's definitely not just because they are white. No way. Totally couldn't be about that) It's the weirdest thing that we are seeing such a psychotic shift in society right now.. (How hard is it to base our judgment off of: Are they a decent person? Is this a good idea?) lastly, we must stop this guilt trip of people for things that have happened outside of a person's lifetime. A person should be judged based off of how THEY have lived THEIR life. Everything else is out of everyone's control...

Well that's the funny thing, there are many countries that think this would work and there all shocked when the "far right" is rising, some like the UK still denying there is a problem! Also as a person who was not brought up surrounded by multiculturalism, I would rubbish the idea of that even mattering. The only thing that matters is you treat everyone equally, that is it. When you start bringing race into it is when you start getting into this mess of putting some people before others.

Never forget how the Swedes scolded Denmark globally for being hostile towards fereigners and a country full of racists. Now they have to correct their national chaos fixing it by the "Danish model". They should give Denmark an unconditional global apology and acknowledge they were dead wrong. At the same time they can hand back Skåne, Halland and Blekinge to Denmark as they can't control it anyways. That said I love my Swedish brothers and sisters

Learn proper Swedish instead, Danish is ...almost impossibe to understand :) Denmark gave up on being a big importnat nation after the 1860s war with the German states. In Sweden we still somehow belive we are a big nation, ok compared to Denmark we are bigger but in reality we are small and should just accept that (and we can not change the world ourselves etc).

Your second point makes sense, and should include Bohuslen, jämtland and herjadlen for norway. Wouldn't it be better for all surrounding countries to let the disaster play out so the lesson is learned well? The failed state can always be partitioned later and the risk is minimal as sweden isn't nuclear armed

@@PMMagro You sing like a bunch of girls when you talk. Heidi howdy whippie di do 😀 I prefer to speak Danish above Swedish anyday. And I do understand Swedish btw. We gave up nothing. We bet on the wrong horse (Napoleon) and lost. Strategically Sweden is better placed and protected by sea and rough terrain. It has nothing to do with giving up, but the fact that Denmark is flat as a pancake😀 But it undeniable that Denmark runs it society levels above Sweden. That is a fact🙂

Too many people i know live by the ideas that "everyone is good deep within" completely neglecting the safety proceedures and checks needed when taking people in. Unfortunately the realization of the mistake was waaaay too late. I'm not staying myself, there might be a future for the country here one day but not for me.
