"No one cares about excuses, everybody cares about the end result" - That is so TRUE. Meanwhile highschool grads (18+ years old): "I failed final exam because I was stressed, not because I didn't know how to solve the problems". Reality check: nobody cares about being stressed or having a calculus mistake. At the end of the day, the plane will fall mid air if it doesn't have enough fuel. Nobody cares about the engineer who didn't get right the amount of fuel required for flight.

To add on to the point about not having excuses, I remember hearing a really fitting quote from marrenTM that goes "the world doesn't care about your circumstances" and I remind myself of it whenever I find myself blaming something other than myself, even if it really wasn't entirely my fault.

I don't play Valorant but his words apply to basically every shooter game. I personally play Apex legends but after watching this video, I feel like I could be better than what I am right now. Thanks for the video.

This is lies Its not like everything else theres a reason if you go to basketball courts, if you’re a “troll” your pretty much banned from playing with people. Nobody wants to play with someone whos bad In any sport, or competitive Only gaming allows jerks and losers to play Even bjj, most gyms will purposely push out wanna b’s from competitive training, why? Cause they cant hang, GOOD gym will ban u from competitive if you cant keep up. Gaming needs this But they wont cause too woke “ohh its just a game, its fun” but you have to aim train, learn line up, study map guides, figure out mechanics, understand combos, understand game sense But the teammate next to you who just plays to play gets to play with u and throw or game Rank be perfect, if it had harsh consequences for not improving as uou climb Plat level - guy goes 5-18 (due to lack of kda, you will lose 40- rr. You may not be placed in right rank…. Sorry) or if a throw is reported, they should be banned

i had this problem too before when grinding CS back in the day - try to look at it from an objective lens. it’s easy to tell yourself “we failed because i made x y z mistake” or “we lost because x y z teammate dragged us down” the best way to look at this is in the lens of every game being a separate instance. your performance in one match is not representative of your overall performance but instead representative of that one game. if you find yourself blaming yourself for one particular mistake, or a group of them, try to improve on that aspect. i know it sounds simple but breaking down each play into multiple different factors over and over again will help you filter down to individual decisions that you can change for next time. if you are able to work on one aspect at a time you will find improvement comes really easily after a few weeks. do not let your mistakes affect your mental because that’s a surefire way to become frustrated needlessly. if you need to take time after a loss to reset your mental so you can think clearly then DO SO. this is crucial - even Kimmy talks about mental to such a degree because of how important it really is to functioning at your highest every game. at the end of the day it is just a game, unless you’re enjoying it you won’t play well, so you have to constantly try to find ways to make gameplay enjoyable for yourself. don’t overthink match stats but instead focus on ways to improve as opposed to finding flaws each match. adjusting your mindset when you die from “i’m so useless” to “okay, i didn’t check x angle, which lead to me dying, i have to implement an angle check there when i push out into my routine to prevent this in the future” is step one - after that it all relies on application for the future. don’t worry homie, you got this, i believe in you, sometimes change takes time to rewire your brain into thinking differently but there’s always an opportunity to learn from every mistake - so take advantage of it whenever you can.

actually i’d even go as far as saying that you need to mentally reset after EVERY round. you lose one round, two, three or even 6 in a row does not mean the game is over. find openings against the opponents you’re playing against no matter the score and you will still have a chance to come back.
