Rich guy problems. You know, if those minor details are driving (pun intended) you that crazy, buy a different car. Or, at the very least, go put an aftermarket system with knobs in the car. In this day an age, you can have anything customized. I'm in love with Cadillac, but I'll never be able to afford one in my lifetime. I have a genuine love for cars and especially Cadillac. I'm trying to keep the one Ford Focus I own, running and out of the shop. Otherwise, a detailed and informative video. Kudos Sir.

+Real Life Eddy With great power comes great responsibility. And I responsibly waved while passing by. But I only had this car for a week as it was on loan from Cadillac. It's very tempting to bury the foot deep into the carpet, but it's also hard to do because the rear end steps out if your not careful (even when passing). But it is fun and it is the best GM can do and it is a flagship for sport sedans.

New Car Spin Thanks for the response. How are the seats, would this car be ok for a 2-3 hour road trip every now and then? Do you find people staring at it when you get gas and go through drive through? Thanks for your responses, helps my time in Iraq go faster.
@NewCarSpin
8 жыл бұрын
+Real Life Eddy The Recaro seats are optional and I recommend them if you drive hard. However, they have a micro suede fabric that traps heat, which is not ideal for a drive longer than 45 minutes. I would suggest standard seats for normal use if you commute or take road trips, yet the money is going to be on the Recaro seats. It would behoove Cadillac to add ventilation in the Recaro seats. Everyone stares at it, so you must prepare yourself for all the attention. It's menacing yet classy, and that's hard to pull off. Thanks for watching, and if you have any additional questions, please reach out. Thanks for your kind support and most importantly, thanks for defending our freedom. I suggest you drive one when you get back.

This car reminds me of what your friends talk about turning a 1970 mustang into ? ( Not great for the price) For that price I'd get a Mustang or a Chevy Camaro and have them put race packages on them to boost them up to 600+ hp. I saw nothing in that car that really made my eyes pop. For a good comparison. Shelby Supersnake(2015 version with supercharger). That puts this caddy in the dirt for good, sounds better, comes in a 6 speed..( auto if you really want it) But for 100 grand, it has nothing something else can't give you. I guess you pay 65 for the car and 35 for the name eh ? I did enjoy your review of this vehicle none the less. I can't wait to see one on the streets. Just not my thing ya know ?

An Audi S6 and a Lexus GS-F are really not in the same class of "performance sedans". The M5, obviously, E63s (never mentioned), and even though a bit more pricey, RS7. The V-sport is more comparable to the S6 and GS-F. Nonetheless, good review!
@NewCarSpin
8 жыл бұрын
+FJF2007 E-class is getting refreshed in the US so it wasn't relevant. S6 and GS-F both cost the same. The M5 is massive compared to the CTS-V, and the CTS-V is actually smaller than the S6. Thanks for watching!
@FJF2007
8 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure you can say a E63s is irrelevant...you're reviewing a 2016 ctsv, there is currently a 2016 e63s. And their likely wont be another e63 until MY18 (regular E series 2017). Also, an S6 and GS-F have 13k msrp gap
@NewCarSpin
8 жыл бұрын

The interface is not lacking the problem is that your old and fat and you don't understand it. It is like the new nose on the Tesla. If you are forged in the 20th century you can't get past a car not having holes for a radiator. Old men killed the touch screen in the 80's and if you had your choice you would do it in again in 2016. Get over the way you have done things and understand the world and cars are changing.

+rueben44 The difference is, old men have all the money. And nothing makes people happier more than simple things. What do you do with a 40-year-old? Trade her in for two 20's. The CTS-V is so close, but they blow it with this 20th Century space age futuristic bullshit.

+New Car Spin Wrong they step into the future but old men from the 20th century want a knob because it is all they have ever known. Also in today's age money is not only for the middle aged man some earn it much earlier now.
