Capitalism, regarded by many as the "ultimate" system, is riddled with contradictions. We see a fresh crisis arrive every few years. It eventually recovers from the crises, but at the cost of what? Who gains from a crisis? Regardless of the answer, the main question remains: are these contradictions pushing humanity towards a bigger, non-reversible crisis? A closer look might reveal a pattern in which capitalism is bound to go through periods of prosperity and crisis. An economic collapse disenfranchises a class of people. What about an environmental collapse? And, what if this trajectory is not a bug... but a feature of dear capitalist system?
