I retired from the Marine Corps in 2014. During the last few years of my service, I began to see a real departure from the warrior culture to a more politically correct branch of service. Don't lose hope, Brother Chadd. There will always be warriors in this world. The culture may be in decline, but it will never die out completely. You absolutley were not told that, you were likely told, as most retail workers always have been, that you're not to defend store property if the store is being robbed, ie don't be a hero, just give them what they want and let them leave. It's standard to train employees in all sectors if they are being attacked to either retreat, hide, or fight back, in that order depending on the situation, there isn't a company that would take on the liability of training their employees to sit there an let themselves be attacked. This is pretty cookie cutter, boiler plate HR stuff. Stop making things up.

From a civilian....don't leave your brothers in arms behind. There are those of us, hunters, fishermen, true outdoorsmen that also see this as the last generation of true outdoorsmen. Men with survivors skills, hunting skills. Also men with basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills, mechanical skills. When you look at the generation coming up, who is teaching those skills? Not offered in schools. I spoke with my neighbor a Marine recruiter and asked him how recruiting was going. He told me that young men have lost the quest for adventure, are being coddled at home by their parents, are not even working but playing video games. My brother told me the story about two gentlemen that drove his daughter home from Milwaukee to Toledo Ohio in first gear because they could not figure out how to switch the care our of sport mode into normal automatic mode. He told both of them they could not date his daughter. I am 62. I was asked to help rehab a house for friends because they could not find a carpenter to help them for two years. My friends are also in their 60's and we have been working this summer weekends after our normal jobs to demo and then rebuild. My friend who is a contractor cannot find young men that want to work as hard as we do. They quit after a day. This starts at home. Get your boys outside, teach them. Teach them life and to be masters of it. Teach them to be self sufficient. Camp, hunt, fish. Go on adventures. Teach them to be men. Teach them to be decent, kind, respectful men. But teach them to do what is necessary to survive. Teach them to be cold, wet, hungry with a grin from ear to ear. Teach them to never stop learning.

Chadd, I entered the Navy in 1985 in one of the last classes where they could reach out and touch you. Crossed the Line as a Golden Shellback, and became a Bluenose on a SNN-588 Class boat. The traditions of which you speak were the glue that held us all together. The bond that was formed during shared hardship is the strongest. We expected the hazing, took it like Men and then came out the other side stronger. The culture now is one of appeasement, where the 10% loudly controls the 90% by whining, threats 'Running to Daddy." Your Truck Talk is right on the money. We are one generation from 'Outlawing Masculinity' which will then herald a period of rapid decline. The good news is that during that dark period, a new Warrior Class will rise up and take control. “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” We are transitioning out of the Good Times into the Weak Men epoch. Which is especially sad since we just came out of two decades of continual warfare - 20 Years where the Military created incredible War Fighters, but then chewed them up and destroyed their spirits with Woke Politics. God Help Us

YOU are the weak man you are complaining about. have some fucking objective clarity you dumb boomer. are you out there sharing your warrior skills with the new generation who will have to take back America from the globalists? are you helping people get politically organized and forming community networks of support for your (hopefully) red county and state? or do you just sit on your ass typing critiques of my generation in youtube comments all day between tv dinners? we all know civil war is inevitable but trying to blame the generation that grew up under your parenting for issues that happened well before they were born is completely asinine. my generation wasnt the one that handed communist china the riches of the west. you could have chosen allied trade partners in south america or recently liberated eastern europe for cheap labor. we didnt vote for the endless ponzi scheme of the Afghan or Iraq wars or the infinite money printing of the federal reserve which you, as an asset holding boomer directly benefited from. my generation is poor and destitute and the target of the greatest propaganda campaign in history. you think the trans agenda is something the politicians are doing for genuine interest? its nothing more than a feeble attempt to save their own hides from a revolution by pussifying an angry generation of have-nots and pitting them against each other in divided class warfare to keep their attention averted from the true criminal element above.

Now they all seem far away... Like a faded picture past... Never sure of how it will be... When he goes home at last... Tears are flowing in the states... The warrior is coming home... As I agree with ur assessment I think we need to go backwards more to find the cause of this. I'm 53yrs old and raised two kids at a young age myself. I was a single father for some time and was told I better never lay a hand on my child to discipline them or I could go to jail. Although I never cared about this fact if my child needed a spanking they got one. Child protection services were always at my house thanks to my xwife until I flat out told them to never come back. Parents are scared of government. U can't let them dictate how u raise your children. Even if means jail and a fight in court. It's gotten a lot worse now with government intervention in the family but the Bible says spare the rod spoil the child. Stick to ur convictions people no matter what government says or does. Ur children may hate u for a while but hopefully when they grow up and mature they will see the light.

Since watching your videos i have started to watch more and more and glad i did because i have learned alot from them and agree with most what you say because, yes nowadays people are watering down the word "Warrior" which i inspire to be and a true warrior at that, so i hope when i go to boot camp and then BUDs that they have the same tradition's as when you trained to become a navy SEAL because you have a warrior mindset and seem like you is a fine warrior.

Both of them survived the latest shooting matches. I did 5 years active, three at a farm command at the Amphibious Base. Best-and hardest 3 years of my life. The young African Hannibal was the greatest hands down. Rome killed it's own cities to starve him out so they turn back to Africa, because they was scared to fight him knowing he always wins & can kill thousands of men single handedly. (Once he got old of course he would lose, but USA/UK use 99% of Hannibals war tactics that is why he is the best even unto this day). Spartans were OK for that region, but Alexander was the best Greek. Even Alexander said he was scared to fight Ethiopians/Nubians who were known as the strongest military in ancient world. The mongols, China and Japan had great warriors too. Even The celts were better than the spartans. Dig into history.

Army flight school here and for us it was the process of moving the hat at the chow hall. Once you went thru hell week your hat made it to the wall. Each flight had a colored baseball cap, and you had to do something each friday worthy of moving your hat to the next rung in the mess hall. It's not the act, but the comradery that it took to move through as a group, to ensure that the weakest link was worthy of the effort that was needed and that the strongest link couldn't just stand on his own.

That crushed me for a long time because I come from a family of military members. I’ll never be able to call myself a warrior in the sense that I was unable to enlist and have a tribe of warrior brothers. But I’ll tell you what I am. I am a fighter. I have fought for what I was able to achieve in life. As a civilian, I train as much as I can to be the protector of my family and community. I dedicated a lot of time in various martial arts to help with my physical issue. And for the past 20 years, in training with firearms. I try my absolute hardest to give my time and efforts to helping others less fortunate through my church. I wish I could have become a part of the warrior culture. To have those brothers. I have so much admiration for those that are. I can only call myself a fighter. Both physically and spiritually. And if ever a warrior needed someone to help, I am here in any capacity I am needed.

nonsense! you dont have to be in the military 2 be a warrior, or go to church to find Jesus! or go to school 2 be a student... A warrior is anyone willing to fight 4 a cause, 4 what they believe is right... to stand up to oppression & tyranny & evil bc its right, even if it leads to your death! A warrior is a servant & protector of the people, & defends those who cant defend themselves! A warrior has a code.. fights for something bigger than himself, for the warrior next to him.. A warrior shows up during war! answers the call of the war drum & the cries of the people in times of need. A warrior puts others before himself. A warriors heart is heavy but strong, and hard to kill. A warrior is a warrior, even at peace time, and ready in a moment if the cause is just... & a warrior for GOD is an extremely rare, yet most dangerous and feared soldier of the highest esteem, and are the defenders of the faith & the representatives of GOD on earth created in His image!

@@felixdewinter3484 So what? Our country was founded on vigilanteeism. It’s funny how a word that was once positive and meant something good is turned into something bad by today’s upside down standards.

Same here. I got denied entry when I tried to join my countries' army. For "medical reasons", which they didn't elaborate on. I can only assume it was because I was honest about struggling with depression in my younger years. ( I mean, who hasn't these days). They say they will scour your medical records so I didn't see the point in trying to lie about it. Apparently it's not uncommon for my nations military to deny applications for totally BS reasons though, which I can only assume is due to our happy horsesh*t leaders systematically slashing our military budget to near non existence over the years. The worst part is that if you are denied entry once you are automatically barred from ever applying again. Seems a bit backwards to me but I don't make the rules. But like you, I became a warrior in my own way. I know I'm a fighter, and inherited the warrior spirit from my paternal bloodline who were also warriors. Some literally, others figuratively. It would have been great to have that formal training and brotherhood that comes from serving, but hey. It doesn't take away from the fighter's spirit within me. You sound like a good man. I hope you're proud of your achievements because you should be!!

@@TheAxe4Ever because we’re a nation of laws and the very definition of vigilantism is behavior outside the law. You believe in the rule of law or are you one of those “rights for me, not for thee” types kid?
