Will Dawkins has talked about four phases: deconstruction, the laying of the foundation, constructing and fortifying. He claims in his press conference before Media Day, that they're in deconstruction phase. I think deconstruction phase refers to them taking down what they had from the previous management, Beal, Deni, Gafford, etc. I think they'll continue to deconstruct (potentially moving Corey, Kuzma) as they start to move towards the laying of their foundation in more draft picks and finding players in their culture. Maybe when they feel that their younger players start to show the promise they're looking for, then they trade Kuzma? Time will tell.
I'm curious what's your take on their rebuild strategy, so feel free to comment down below. In my full video on my channel, I also talk about how I think their utilizing their G-League team in their rebuild, so be sure to check that out!
