The place is nice not even middle class Ghanaians can afford it, it's ridiculous all this nice places are overpriced including their real estate.

220 dollars for a standard room. Regardless of how appealing something in Ghana is, there is almost always an element of pure mindlessness associated with it that completely turns you off. Granted the place is nice but charging that much for a night is even out of reach for middle class people from rich western countries. I guess the people who build these resorts only have their equally rich friends and cronies in mind as the target patrons. Unbelievable.

The price of hotel rooms in Ghana are crazy. I even heard that some tourists who come to Ghana travel to Lome in Togo to lodge there every night whilst touring Ghana. The hoteliers should convene a meeting and reduce their crazy prices drastically. Some hotel rooms in The States are even cheaper than hotel rooms in Ghana. Crazy!

It's crazy! I just found out that this area is home of the Akwamu people. Oh goodness! I am connected to Akwamu people. My maternal ancestors came from the Akwamus who settled in the Akwapim Mountains. The Akwamus went to the mountain to fight a war, and after the war some of the warriors remained on the Akwapim Mountains. My Akwamus ancestors were brought to Jamaica during the slave trade. When I visit Ghana, I would love to visit the palace of the king 👑. It's such a beautiful place. I can't believe I have roots at that place. Oh God! I am feeling emotional!

Just a tip for people who still haven't figured it out. The reason the prices don't make sense is because they are selling things in dollars under the guise of cedis. When they say 2700 cedis, that's just whatever the converted rate it, the owner is really saying to you they are selling it for 219 dollars. None of the calculations Ghanaians are making anymore is in cedis, don't be fooled. Of course this is pure greed and avarice trying to get paid at the same rates at a nation neither you nor the majority of your would be customers live in. China's economy is a million times bigger than the entirety of Africa and average rent there when converted to dollars is between 300 - 600 dollars. Meanwhile Ghana with no industries is charging 2000 dollars for subpar wannabe western apartments. lol.

Thank you for speaking truth! I've been watching KZitem videos on Ghana since January 2022 and at least 85% of diasporas and Ghanaians confirmed what you spoke. I'm from America but have been led by the Almighty to get ready to go back home. But according to many in the videos, within like 1-2 years, housing prices has gotten out of control in Ghana.

Africans lack business mind and there is no one to advise/tell them.Only twenty percent occupancy yet the price is that ridiculous. The last time l was in hilton hotel here in England l paid 80 pounds for a standard room per night. But my point is even if the rooms are free and customers pay for drinks and food they'll probably be making more money, steady and constant cash flow from the foods and drinks instead of empty rooms,no customers due to price.Ten pounds a night for example multiply by 80 rooms is 800 pounds daily, every night, better than empty rooms and a ghost environment. Most importantly,it will generate more indirect employment for the locals due to constant visitors.Nice one jasmine!Thank you.

What a freaking joke for the prices listed, LOL!! Tourism can be an insane source of revenue anywhere that does it right. Places like Las Vegas alone generate as much, if not more, than the GDP of Ghana! Places in South/Central America, Asia, North America and Europe will continue to take the lion's share of the "regular" tourist market as African businesses continue to overvalue what is offered. I bet those rooms are often left unoccupied for many days in the year. Go watch videos of pricing in such places and compare the value.
