Timeboxing uses a psychological principle called setting an “implementation intention,” which is a fancy way of saying planning out what you’re going to do and when you’re going to do it.
It is BY FAR the most studied and the most effective time management technique. The studies overwhelmingly prove timeboxing works. And I bet if you took a look at how high-performers plan their time, you’ll discover they use some form of it.
