You don't mention black pepper .I have been told that the body absorbs turmeric better if a pinch of black pepper is added. Is this true?

Dr, Is it beneficial to drink organic turmeric powder (already mixed with black pepper) & water? I drink this daily and would like to know if this is helping or hurting the liver. Dosing of the powder is really what I'm looking for as well please. I can't always cook with it so, I'm asking if taking it cleanly in this form is beneficial. Thanks!

I appreciate turmeric too. Not sure why so many health experts warn about high oxalates in turmeric. Did Ayurveda not realize this or is this only for poor gut folks?

Not for all, very high in oxalates, unless there is a way of disabling the oxalic acid. 4 ureteroscopies later, I am trying to avoid hi ox foods.

Each person is unique -- some may be able to digest it and others may not be able to digest it. What we do in my office is to first fix the person's digestion and then teach them the best type of milk to buy and then how to take it in the correct way.

In talking about the recipe for the Turmeric milk, she says to add 2 pods of something to help digest the protein in the milk, and I can't understand what she is saying, does anyone know?
