I know what I'm about to say is gonna be a very unpopular opinion but yes, time is probably still on his side as long as people still buys Russian gas. This is because Russia still ridiculously outnumbers Ukraine. And, while neither Ukraine nor NATO ever reports on Ukraine's casualties (which is already a very bad sign), every time we get a glimpse of them like when Mark Miller said casualties were similar on both sides or when the Norwegian intelligence let it slip that Ukraine had well over 100 000 casualties, those casualties don't look good. To win against Russia as it stands right now, Ukraine would need to kill 4 Russian soldiers for every soldier that they lose and that's just not what's happening right now. And keep in mind that Ukraine has had full mobilization for a while now while Russia only has had partial mobilization. The only way for Ukraine to win is for Russia to run out of money and the only way for that to happen is for Europe to just stop buying Russian gas already! A price cap isn't enough.

There quickest way for this war to end is to hold the stalemate. When both sides realize that they cant make any gains they will come to an agreement. Russia will not just pull out his troops just as much as ukraine will not just lay down its arms. Both are essentially an unconditional surrender and just like with your average fight you should not expect either side to just give up when there actually is something at stake. Anyone who thinks that kicking out russia will keep them away is an idiot. Russia had many strategic reasons for being in ukraine. All that will happen is that someone other than putin will try the same again. And ukraine already is in Nato by then then there will 100% be WW3. Anyone who calls for a "just" and "sustainable" peace but really only wants that russia gets kicked out and putin humiliated is not only a hypocrite but also a fool.

That's bullshit. Russians would never attack NATO as they are simply too weak. Supposedly 2nd army on the planet can't handle much smaller country, just because they get weapons from other countries? "The" Ukraine, so you think Ukraine is a russian republic/region/territory, part of the Russian Federation? The distinction is critically important for the sovereignty of the Ukrainian nation-state, suggesting as it does that Ukraine is either a bounded nation-state - like Germany - or a region of Russia with amorphous borders - like the Caucasus. This is why, in 1993, Ukraine’s government asked Russia’s government to abandon the Soviet-era practice of referring to Ukraine as “na Ukraine” and use only “v Ukraine.” The na construction is, however, still widely used in Russia. To a Ukrainian worried about the nation-state’s territorial integrity, that little word “the” might suggest that the speaker does not much care whether Ukraine is an independent state. Like it or not, and intentionally or not, the language a person uses reflects their political positions, including their position on Ukraine’s territorial sovereignty.

Victoria Nuland: "We have provided 5 billion dollars to Ukraine for democracy" Political interference by the United States in money breaks article 2 from the Budapest memorandum. The Minsk Agreements the parties were Ukraine and the goverment ofricials from Donetsk and Lugansk; Russia, Germany and France were garantors, not parties. Ptr Poroshenko, Angela Merkel and François Hollande confessed that Minsk Agreements were a sham. The Russian Federation recognised the independence from Donetsk and Lugansk after 8 years and 14,000 dead and signed a security treaty and implemented article 51 of the United Nations of preentive self defense (i don't have to wait to be attacked) hours before that Vladimir Putin asked the State Duma to use the Russian army outside of our nation, the Ukranian armed forces from 40,000 gather 100,000 troops to storm both republics making legal our implementation of article 51 of the United Nations, everything else is political position, not international law.
