Sometimes people drift in different directions. I have my oldest daughter that got divorced a couple of years ago. I tried to help them and her husband bent over backwards for the kids. They have my other daughter as like a home life when they aren’t with their dad. She said she just didn’t love him anymore and I said you had two children together so you had to care at one point in the marriage. They are co parents and are nice to each other . I am happy they put their children first.

Just gonna throw this out there: I'm 70 now and just about everyone I've ever known faced the most difficult period in their lives sometime during their 30s. I'm speaking about individuals, and psychologically. I'm no exception, and my entire 30's were pretty rough until toward the end, and after 40 everything has seemed to steadily go uphill. So I'm passing that on for what it's worth. I do wish you both the best in whatever life brings you. And thanks for all the enjoyable and informative videos you did together!

The most HONEST VIDEO I've ever seen. Thank you so much. Incredibly rare. Your bravery is exemplary. This is why KZitem or social media in general is so much better than commercial media. You will NEVER get this kind of honesty on main stream media. I understand both sides of your dilemna. Neither one of you is wrong. You must go where your hearts lead. To do anything else leads to huge regrets at the end of your life. I am 68 years old, and trust me when I tell you that there is nothing worse than to get to the end of your life with huge regrets. You are doing the right thing. It may hurt temporarily, but you must remain true to your inner heart's feelings, even when it leads to pain. You must stay true to yourself. My child has grown. My wife has passed. At first we decided to have no children. I had a vascectomy. Later, we decided to adopt. I regret neither decision. They were both "right" at that time of our lives. Now I have 8 grandchildren and I have no regrets. That is the most important thing. There are no "wrong" decisions; only "honest or true" decisions. Thank you so much for having the guts to make this video. It restores my faith in humanity...that most people are not extremists, as the media would like you to believe, but that most people are "normal" and have the same problems, desires, and struggles that you and I have. In the end, we are all a lot more alike, than we are different. And that gives me hope. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

By the way, as a lawyer who has practiced in both family law and small business law, let me say that the only way this will work is if you can look each other in the eye and say there will be no bitterness, jealousy, or resentment, ever. Also, it is important to have a written partnership agreement. If nothing else it will delineate your respective rights, obligations and day-to day responsibilities so there is no misunderstanding later as to what was agreed upon. You guys have been at this long enough that I'm sure you can foresee a lot of the potential issues. You don't even need a lawyer. Just do some research. Finally, thanks for the life-changing information you two have provided. It's had a definite impact on my retirement plans, and I'm sure many thousands of others. IMO they were too close to each other all the time in a foreign place & different culture without friends. For a healthy relationship distance is important. If someone start focusing 100% on the individual plans forgetting the fun & liberty felt in the relationship, breakup happens. I wish the best for them but i think compromise & sacrifice is part of a good committed relationship which is becoming less common these days. We as humanity suffering from the highest levels of individualism & Narcissism these days sad but true and we all know it. I wish the best happens for both.

As a loyal viewer and subscriber, over the past few years, I can honestly say, you guys changed my life. You both helped me to discover my own country. Your videos were a sense of comfort and made me long to go back to a place I don't know. You were the first travel vloggers that I ever watched and although I’ve watched other people’s videos since then I always come back to Tangerine 🍊 Travels because you both have such a strong sense of integrity, honesty and just plain genuineness. I know this must be a really hard time for you both but if it’s any comfort you are doing the right thing. Stay strong my friends.

We really can’t judge that, it takes a lot to move forward, we can’t be on their business just appreciate the fact is a awesome channel with very good down to earth people that’s all, who can straight up review a location and say their own opinions without trying to make you hear what you wanna hear that’s what makes this a good channel reality.

I think everyone is saddened to hear of your breakup. I can understand your reasoning as rearing children is a real life changer, mostly good but it definitely has it's moments. I will not be unsubscribing because somewhere along the way I adopted the both of you and I still care about both of you. I have enjoyed your efforts being both informative and entertaining. And wanting to learn more about Mexico, not just the two weeks I spend there on an annual basis, I live vicariously through your videos. Take care of yourselves and I look forward to seeing what life holds in store for you both. And most of all be happy moving forward.

Very mature and smart to realize this difference of "life feelings". Having the deep conversations before marriage is what too many people DON'T do. Break ups are very painful. Thank you for sharing, it was very brave of you. Maddie, you are right. You cannot make yourself want children and Jordan cannot make himself give up that dream. That subject truly is a deal breaker if you both are not on the same page. It may be so painful right now, but there is nothing more painful than not holding to your own feelings and having children thinking it would mend the crack in the relationship. It doesn't mend anything. Eventually the resentment rears its head, and then you have a child stuck in the middle and you are both tied to each other for the rest of your life. I am happy you got to work through much of this personally before going public. I am happy you remain friends. I have no suggestion on how to keep the channel going, but I will respect whatever you decide to do. Videos together, videos singularly, you may have to try different things before you find the comfort zone for yourselves, because that is what is most important. Your happiness is what is at the core of this, and your happiness as individuals is most important. If the channel is bumpy for a bit, I admire is that you were honest and truthful, and if bumps arise and you have to pivot a few times, your viewers know why. I believe you will figure it out now that you have gotten beyond having to get through this video. Not sure how you did it without crying, but I wish you both the very best as you decide what is next.

I'm sorry for you guys. Breakups are already hard enough on their own, being in the public eye does not make it any easier. I'm glad that you had a healthy breakup despite the circumstances. This is a really mature way to face it from both of you. Take time to heal if you need it, take a breather. Make videos apart if you need or want some more room for a while or permanently. @@TangerineTravels Yes Maddie but read this! MaddieGold is gaining popularity and could be a “Goldmine”! And please note the following: This is Carl and I just wanted to respond to one of your subscribers (Betty’s) comments on (your break up). Come on Betty !!! Really! You typed…………. It’s better to regret the kids you never had than regret the kids you did. You mean it’s better to feel badly about what your doing than what you could have done but didn’t do? Betty the word regret could mean: Feeling sadness, a loss, missed opportunities, apologetic, unpleasantries, sorrow and disappointment. But the strong demeanor and personality characteristics that I view each week from Jordon and Maddie say that your theory can’t hold water! They both have their own personal opinions about the direction they want to travel in life and that’s not a basket of (Tangerines)! Jordon is the “Man” in more than one way and Maddie is every “Woman” and deserves a commitment from him! Man up Jordon and put a ring 💍 ❤️ on Maddie’s finger before someone else does like many of the (500,000) viewers and (260,000 subscribers). Now Betty what I just addressed might end up being the true “regret”! But you have a point and so does Maddie and Jordon.
