Can you guys post reviews anymore? It's pretty annoying that all that's being uploaded is stream highlights (which judging from the views no one watches) and casual Fridays. Your guy's excuse last time was that there haven't been any games coming out, but we are in the fall and games are coming out like crazy, hell you didn't even review destiny or shadow of mordor! Seriously you guys need to step up your game your views are falling fast!

I agree. If I'm honest I actually think there reviews where good, but all they do now is just sit around with beers and talk about random topics. There's nothing wrong with doing that every so often but it gets a little boring to watch when it's just a bunch of random topic videos. Do some reviews guys. Your views look like there suffering

I wonder if sessler knew of the changes, and thats why he left?. What ever happen to scott bromley as well?. I like this channel, and it has the potential to do so much more. It's unfortunate though, seeing as to how I feel like I rarely watch Rev3 anymore. I go to Machinima for my gaming news now.. They don't really do reviews though, come to think of it, aside from IGN and Angry Joe, who still does reviews?.. Seem likes its a dying trend.

Crazy Taxi yo! It's kind-of? a racing game with maybe? some competitive multiplayer, but it falls squarely in line with your self-aware ridiculous gameplay. It isn't stupid about things. Passengers have a place to go, NOW, ABOVE ALL ELSE, and they cheer when you nearly miss a wreck or skid, slamming into a wall, just to coast into their stop. It's consistent, but not lazy, ignoring just enough to be playable and fun while staying grounded. Crazy Taxi (Part 1 of 15) - $115,267.89 - 229 customers - New World Record!!! "Man, damnit!" "You're not hurt, get in." "Honey take me to the hospital."

I would encourage all of you to play Forza Horizon 2. I really don't like sim racers, they're really boring and repetitive but, Horizon 2 takes the realism of a sim racer and makes it fun. It's open world, you earn perks and level up and the multiplayer modes like infected and the king one are awesome. I know it's not necessarily "vehicular combat" but, I kinda get sad when people throw away the Horizon series because they think it's just another boring sim racer. You will be pleasantly surprised with Horizon 2, it's the most fun I've had with a racing game ever

As far as N64 arcade racers go, I'm still a huge fan of the Rush series. Rush 2 had it's stunt arena where you could go and do all sorts of ridiculous jumps and flips and try desperately to land in a way that won't cause you to explode. And then Rush 2049 added in extendable wings so that you could control your rotations and either try to land safely, or add even more flips and spins to beef up your score. Another game from a slightly later era that I really loved was Hydro Thunder. Arcade boat racing with a slew of fantastic ships and some wild courses.

Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for the PS2. I never enjoyed racing games, but I LOVED that one. I could just be rolling down the highway and there was no set start or finish line, it was just about pulling away, pulling ahead. It even had a health bar fighting game kind of element at the top and it was just about being ahead for longer than your opponent and the further you got the faster his life would drain. It was incredible.

Following a previous comment made by someone else that got lost in a huge chain of comments - Am I the only one that's a bit worried about the recent changes in the staff? I mean, I got into this channel when Anthony Carboni decided to drop Bytejacker, and really stayed for him, Tara, Max and (eventually) Sessler. But as much as I like the current staff (and I really do, you guys are amazing), a lot of the people I used to like are gone and I'm kind of starting to wonder if there's something going on behind the scenes that's causing people to leave? I'm just sort iffy because ALL of the shows I originally liked Rev3 for are now gone, and I can't help but to get the feel this channel is very slowly crumbling down...

My favorite racing game was AeroGauge on N64. It was objectively average but my brother and I got it on sale at a Game Crazy store. For whatever reason, no matter who won or lost, that game caused no arguments or fights. It was super chill an'd we'd usually play for about 45 minutes and then just leave. WE even got my dad in on it sometimes. What a game that was. There was a flying N64 controller!

My favourite racing game is Mario Kart: Double Dash for the fun, or Gran Tursimo for the actual racing. I don't think that "demolition derby" era is gone. I know a lot of people don't like the Need For Speed series, but Rivals is pretty "demolition derby"-like. There's virtually no story, it's all about each driver for themselves with a small push towards cops vs racers. It can totally be played cops vs cops, or racers vs racers. It's just wanton destruction.

I always liked Burnout. The emphasis on slow-mo crashing really pulled me in. Plus, the soundtracks were great. I also remember playing Destruction Derby a lot on PS1, along with the awesome Rollcage. And on PS2 there was a sick vehicle combat game called Motor Mayhem, which was a bit like Twisted Metal. I haven't played a racing game in a long time, though. I can't get on board with the serious ones. I need combat, or some kind of arcade hook like Burnout's takedowns. Not hugely into real cars or racing.

wip'E'out might be one of the best arcade racing games. No real story (Like you guys said), its fast, you can blow stuff up, has a Mario like item system but everything is balanced. Oh and its in the future. Oh and its not cars. But its also a bit harder, due to the fact of the air break system. For anyone who has about 8 bucks and a Ps3, pick up wip'E'out HD.

Motostorm Pacific Rift was everything I wanted from a racer. Why didn't they do another one instead of drive club... There is only ONE Mario Kart game that matters and it is ! As far as racing games go I can't stand arcadey driving physics but I do like the "game modes" for a lack of a better word of those games. Forza Horizon is perhaps the closest. I just wished NFS and The Crew and all these games had more realistic driving models because when cars don't behave like real cars I just can't control them.
