this is so interesting. thinking about how Jordan and Milena literally went through the same thing... and I saw a prophetic word that this is moving season! I will also be moving from Berlin back to the UK and I know that God is moving me. this prophetic word that I saw, touched on how God is moving and positioning his children into the right place. these homes we will be in, will be in exactly the right place for God to do his work and people will meet us in these new places who needed to meet us! hope this encourages ya'll!

Talking about how bittersweet moving is makes me so emotional! I grew up an Air Force Brat and am now married to an Airman. My parents always told my sister and I, “It’s harder to be the ones left behind.” Moving is such a journey! Home is definitely where your family and people are, doesn’t always have to be a specific place!

Chad and Tori! I've heard these words of wisdom...Don't make lifetime decisions when your emotions are very high. When this is happening, you can make bad decisions and then end up regetting them later. Lean not to your own understanding. Listen carefully for the Lord's voice.
@rebekahmcdermott5504

Hoping they’ve prayed on this. You do make a good point. I have made a big move from the UK to the US (I’m originally from the US but husband is from Scotland). I made the decision during an emotional period in life and I often regret the move. I miss Scotland so much. I trust now that God brought us back here for a reason, especially since there’s no obvious reason or ability to move back again, but making decisions like this when emotions are high in any capacity can definitely give you the “grass is always greener” feeling once the decision has been made and acted upon.

@@rebekahmcdermott5504 I could tell in their video that they were swaying back and forth about it. God is not a God of confusion. It can also throw their baby's schedule and routine really off and it can cause them to become stressed and then sick very easily. I think it's better from them stay rooted instead of moving so much and build a community where they live. They spent so much money building their home and pool. It's really up to God and them though. They have to do what is right for their family. I'm just helping them to maybe see things from another point of view and give them some clarity. They just need to be lead by the Lord.

@@godsdaughter_1234 Thank you for being truthful and using discernment on whether or not Chad & Tori are called by God to move to Nashville. Our hearts are desperately wicked(Jeremiah 17:9) and just because something feels right, that doesn't mean that it's from God(Proverbs 4:23). With that said, whether it's choosing your spouse, choosing your career, choosing your church/community, it all comes down to this verse... Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." I feel like majority of this decision is based off of their community in Nashville, and not necessarily the gifts and calling that God has given to Chad & Tori(Romans 11:29). Which is fine, but if that community moves because they're called by God somewhere else, then they just made a big life decision based on someone else's temporary residency(Luke 9:57-58). Also, the fact that they're being impatient about moving(moving before the holidays), even though this is a big life decision tells me it's not from the Holy Spirit(Psalm 37:7). We're suppose to wait patiently until we hear an answer from God(Psalm 27:14). But to your point, this is between them and the Lord and ultimately only they know what God is telling them through prayer(John 10:27). But from an outside perspective, objectively speaking, it doesn't sound like a wise decision(Proverbs 20:18). Ephesians 5:15-17 KJV "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."

I live in a one story and grew up in a one story home. It’s a love hate relationship for me. One story limits space unfortunately. My home and my childhood home had laundry in the basement, and I long for laundry on the main floor. Both houses have a fairly small kitchen, and only three main floor bedrooms (extra bedrooms in my childhood home were in the basement, which was needed because we had nine kids in the house). I do like the idea of not needing to go up and down steps, but also with young kids who nap, sometimes it’d be nice to have them in a room away from the main living space so it’s quieter. When we had family visiting and we were talking late at night in the living room, it was disturbing my four year old’s sleep. Just some things to keep in mind :)
