Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, made in 1966, is one of the great play adaptations. Director Mike Nichols did his best work with star Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, George Segall and Sandy Dennis in adapting Edward Albee's play. Albee allegedly never forgave the changes that were made. IMHO he was absolutely incorrect. Note the exceptional use of reactions and Haskell Wexler's cinematographer, which gives most of the play movement. And it was Nichols' first movie. Up nex was The Graduate. For Taylor, it opened up a whole new venue for her.

This channel is dedicated to all sorts of content surrounding the entertainment industry. It was originally formed as a repository of content created for the California Community College Chancellor's Office Department of Economic and Workforce Development Doing What Matters Initiative. Running from 2013-2018, numerous events and assets were created to enhance anyone interested in entertainment as a career to find the best career pathways in. In order to support that effort, a series of videos were created that dealt with "below-the-line" or "crafts" positions, which are often not taught in regular curriculum.
The program further expanded to include digital assets that might be amusing to general students. Dan Watanabe, founder of this channel, was a grant director.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE CONTENT: Having attended high school in Japan, channel owner Dan Watanabe found this also to be a place where interesting tidbits from his days in Japan could provide a nostalgic backwards look for his former classmates -- as well as his current students. Further, this could be of cultural interest to westerners.
