Thank you for the video. One piece of advice. Winter is upon us. The state of Ga is NOT as equipped to handle the potential snow/ice that sometimes comes. Certainly not as well as other places you have lived. Make sure your car is prepped in the event you get stuck out on 85. It’s happened before.

Southwest Florida here, more people are moving down from New York, it's good because it gives me a job building fire sprinklers in new homes, but also they're not upgrading the roads, Between the four exits of Sarasota County on I-75 they should make wider with an emergency lane for fire/police/medics, there is one neighborhood down here, 10,000 homes in the next 5 years. right next to where the Atlanta braves training camp is at. I see or hear about a fatality on 75 within 4 exits at least once a week. It's becoming to crowded on the road.

@@KorisnickoIme84 when I arrived in Atlanta I forty dollars . This was around 1970 . A buddy was traveling with me , we hitch hiked from East Tennessee . Some guys and one young lady picked us up . I bought everyone food at a store , that took half of my funds . My buddy and myself hit Centennial Park , a couple of blocks off Piedmont (called the strip ). The whole area was a drug scene . We , at least I live in the park . My buddy split after some guy tried to steal his shoes of his feet . It was a crazy scene to a small town kid . First time I ever saw a male wearing hot pants and heels . Homosexuals cruzed (can't spell) a certain area of the park looking to pick up young men . Seen a young teenage boy wearing cuts ( biker attire ) get attack by a member of the biggest one percenter club in the East , over a patch the kid had on his cut . I thought he was going to be killed . The law got to coming through at night , anybody they got ahold of went to jail . That was when I started sleeping under bushes ... out of sight . There was a young man about my age called Wolf Man that had a shelter constructed down a creek path . Only the hardcore homeless stayed in the park late at night . I knew other guys from my hometown there , they were dealing drugs , mostly crystal meth and pot . So hung with them . The people fronting them were mid level Coka Cole executives they put everyone up in apartments . One of my friends ran his entire stash of crystal meth through the wash , he give me a hit and I was moving faster than I ever moved in my life , but it made me sick as a dog . Some men came around one day and wanted hire anybody they could get supposedly to harvest pot . The story did not make sense , so I cautioned my friends not join-up with these men . You had to be on guard 24/7 , someone always had bad plans for you . I didn't have cash , just hung around . The Hare Krishnas probably kept me alive with free peaches 🍑. If I had a do-over , I would have a kit . Get in a place with opportunity for work . To get a job that paid enough to live on was hard for draft age men at that time .

I live in a small town Oklahoma. Next big city is 20 minute drive away. The capital about 45 minute drive away. I have a very small apartment and not in a "complex" but from an individual. I prep what I can. Water. Other supplies. Can goods. First aid stuff. Protection. A bug out bag. I lived homeless for 5 years. 2.5 years on multiple city streets. Multiple States. And 2.5 years in a tent in Southern Oregon. I know how to survive regardless of my surroundings.

@@naps3386 My guess is because they put many nuke silos in those northern / north western states in sparsely populated areas. And of course they spread out the silos so they wouldn't all be in one location. This arsenal of ICBM's is called the first leg of our nuclear triad, and any opponent would likely desire to kick out the leg with a first strike.

I think realtors would say you're living in a Atlanta - *adjacent* community. Are you in a urban, suburban or semi-rural or even... full-on rural area? Oh and since I don't know anything about Georgia... what kind of growing conditions will you have? Are you going to be able to start a Garden next year? And since I'm all about that big Texas pantry... what does a Atl, Georgia pantry look like? And how high is the water-table? Do you have a basement/cellar? And semi-related: What does GA law say about digging your own well? Wait... is that even possible? Considering the fact that Georgia is sitting on top of A LOT of underground salt. And swamp-land. Are there vampires? No, wait, that's Louisiana. LOL I think maybe you're going to have to make a full-length ATL homestead video (tour is optional, but... consider OPSEC!) and I would add a recommendation that you end with a determination of whether you would stay there long-term. Would that be the place you would want to bug-out to? Or no? (My dream is to start a homestead in the place where I'd want to bug-out to.) I know there's a lot here, so... take yer time. Have fun with it. Seeya next video.
