The thing with 50 cent is not all his disses came from a bad place. Some of the people he dissed he was actually trying to get them more shine. That's why AZ said what he said. I remember Chamillionaire telling a story how 50 cent dissed him and he seen 50 and thought there was gonna be a problem...He said 50 dapped him up and gave him props and asked why he didn't diss him back and told him that was his opportunity to get more fame and he wanted him to run with it. I think that was 50s way of trying to get some of his favorite artists more shine...

To me, AZ to NYC and HipHop is what Andre 3000 is to ATL and HipHop. Two individuals that remain low key, stay in their lane and are honestly bar for bar among the best to ever do it, but are usually not in the conversation simply because they are a given. Talib said that years ago about 3000. I agree whole heartedly with that assessment and i think AZ also belong in that category. Never heard wack songs or verses, he spits with a mastery you dont hear common even among veteran rappers and he never gets caught up in BS.
