I had an apartment in Queens. You should try to spend some time in a super remote place. Where I live in Maine there is a large area, maybe 50% of NY landmass where there is no paved roads, no cell phone reception, no towns. Locations are represented by region and territory...(i'm in T2R12...yeah!). Nothing. Truly remote wilderness. It's wild. The noise turns off. The phones and electronics turn off. You and travel companions are all you have. Everyone you meet out there is armed, and it turns out, usually very polite (probably for obvious reasons...everyone is armed!). What I love about NYC is there always something to do, even if you're broke, as long as you have train money. Great video. MrMiyagiisDope OUT!

Hey bro, thank you for putting all your videos out I greatly appreciate it! I can very much relate to a lot of what you said and it was great to learn the back-story on how you arrived to NYC! I actually grew up in the area (upstate NY in the sticks) and still only live 90 mins away from NYC, in fact my father was in the FDNY for 20+ years so I grew up going to the NYC quite often and much of my family live in Long Island. Anyways that being said, I just started riding motorcycles 2-3 years ago and it was really all the motovloggers you mentioned down south that inspired me to start riding, I took the MSF course and bought my first motorcycle and now I have a whole collection of 80s and 90s vintage motorcycles that I'm working on restoring. But after getting my first motorcycle and riding, it was really YOU that inspired me to want to start my own KZitem channel. I have not uploaded any videos yet but I created the channel and started putting everything in place and getting very close to joining the very special MotoVloggers community! All the MotoVloggers I knew though were all down south so initially I wasn't sure if I could do it (year-round with the brutal winters here) but you, also being a northerner has given me a lot of inspiration and confidence to take the next step. I've already started recording videos and almost ready to start publishing them. Like Josh always says, if you ever want to have endless content for being a KZitemr, just buy an older motorcycle from the 80s and boy, isn't that sooo true ... LOL! Anyways, I'm sorry this is really long winded but I just wanted to say that I never grew up around other people that ride and because I just started a few years ago, I don't know anyone local. So if you were ever interested in meeting up, I would love to meet you in person and ride around NYC with you (I hope that didn't come across as weird lol)! I don't mind traveling at all so please hit me up if you'd like! You've been a huge inspiration so thank you so much for all the effort you put into these videos, you make a huge difference and I appreciate you brother! Ride safe and keep the rubber side down!

That's awesome man, thanks for all the kind words. It's tough making year round content out here for sure but you're right if you ever need more just get an old motorcycle lol. Come down anytime man, I'm usually just going back and forth to work, nothing exciting, but there's always cool meet ups. The Ride More Talk Less IG page usually has something going on at least once a week from April to Oct

Did the same kinda thing in my younger years. Thought me a lot, especially places that I absolutely would not want to live lol. Places I don't want to live, NYC, LA( California in general), Texas, Florida (unless it's the keys), Chicago and most major cities. Not because of the city itself, it's the crazy people, ridiculous cost of living and crime 😒. I guess I'm just a country boy 😀
@WhiskeyChaser

I figured one day I'd get back to that, but what I want is the stories to tell on the front porch of those crazy city years. Sipping whiskey talking about the celebs I met, the sights I saw, and the places I've been.
