Thanks for the nice overview Joe, that generation of STI does look pretty good but the one thing that I don’t like are the front headlights. They just look too big and gaudy for my taste.
@RaitisRides

I've always thought WRX's and especially STi's were sweet rides and considered this as a candidate when I was looking for a new car before I finally ended up choosing my current car. The only thing I dislike about these cars is that while the engines are otherwise very solid and reliable,this was an engine that required a proper head gasket replacement done to it or the stock OEM head gaskets would be prone to sudden failure after a few years of driving. However,I hear that once the proper head gaskets were installed the issue of that weakness would no longer usually be any sort of an issue.

I can totally understand where you are coming from. I have read plenty of stories online. I am very happy to say I owned a 2006, 2008, and 2015 and never had any issues. I am sure you are enjoying your current car though!
@erebus38

Yeah,it's me that guy who told you a ways back that I bought a used 2010 red second gen Mazdaspeed 3. By the way,I'm still driving it with the AC on due to the summer heat and even took it on a 2 hour road trip back to my original hometown and came back and the car is still running like a charm with no problems at all! Well,there's now one little minor issue with how the front passenger tire sensor seal was causing the tire to have a slow leak and since I didn't have the spare $75 on me at the time to completely replace it with a brand new sensor, I decided to just replace the part with a normal piece without the sensor for like a mere $12! While this now causes the yellow tire pressure level light on the dashboard to stay on,the tire hasn't been leaking any air since replacing the part needed to maintain tire pressure and the car is still running just as well as the day I bought it!

I like to keep you updated so that you can get an idea of what it's like for me as an owner of this car experiences and while everyone else may have different experiences with their cars,whether they be MS3's or not you can get an idea of what my life with this car has been like and so I don't mind sharing this info at all and do so willingly. I remember when the WRX first hit the North American market as a 2002 year model and back then that was actually my dream car to have,as I was about 21 years of age at that time and a was a big Gran Turismo player and a fan of all the nice Subaru Impreza turbo models that we never received here in this country until then and to be honest,if I could I would've loved having a first gen body style WRX or WRX STi.

Fun fact about the GV Sedans (2011-2014) - You can tell the difference between a 2011/2012 and a 13/14 by the headlight unit. On the 2011/12 as in the video, the headlight units are black background interior (the housing color), meanwhile the 2013/14 have silver/white housings. Also, the chrome piece on the back above the license plate is painted body color on 13/14 trims of the sedan.
