It’s true about no contact and letting go. When a guy leaves or breaks up, just accept it and move on. 95% of the guys who’ve dumped me have come back. Mainly because I would accept the breakup gracefully, go no contact and cut them off. Know your value.

That's not the definition of being nice. You can be a good person, with nice manners and empathy toward others BUT within your own means. When you give from a place of hapiness that's being nice. Have self-compassion for yourself ladies. Don’t be so hard on yourself. For many this is more than just being “desperate” or “forgetting your crown” but an indication of mental health issues. If you experienced childhood emotional neglect, attachment issues, abuse or trauma it’s way deeper than the simple inability to find a man. Seek therapy with a professional or speak to a trusted friend, parent or family doctor. Elliot can’t fix the underlying issue. Without self-compassion there is no self-love or self-acceptance. Agreed. Blaming women for men treating them like crap bc they ‘allow it’ is victim blaming. A decent guy isn’t going to take advantage of you. I’ve had guy friends who were into me more than I was into them. It was obvious from their behaviour. I was always honest with them and told them I didn’t feel the same way or couldn’t give them what they wanted before they even made a move. I think it was fair and avoided any unnecessary drama or misunderstanding. Saved a lot of time bc they could find someone else to focus their energy on.

I was dealing with a player. And the ironic thing is a lot of players are one of the most insecure guys out there. Because when I told him I’m going away(leaving lol), he all of a sudden became emotional, what is wrong with me, what do I need to change. My heart wanted to stay but my intellect told me you can’t change him. So I told him, I can’t tell you(as you should know yourself) and if I tell you will change for a while but then go back to your old self. You can’t change for me, you need to want to change for yourself. I don’t think the guy I dealt with was used to women having standards and being willing to walk away. But I did. I liked him and still miss him but I like myself more.

I think the reason I’m single is because I have a no bullshit attitude and am quick to cut men off. Because when I hear some of these stories from other people I’m shocked. It’s not to come across like I’m better than, but that level of disrespect doesn’t happen to me and it would never get there. I’m okay with being single if it means eliminating someone as soon as they try to test me.

They weren't physically involved according to both of them but I guess the way she did it, still destroyed him. So of course, little princess me was there to see him through his hard times. I didn't have feelings for him at the time but there was an undeniable attraction. When he started showing interest, after years of not dating, I decided to let go and give us a try. Liz B I agree. I have listened to quite a few videos, and quite a few of Elliot's videos. He has some good points, women do get taken advantage of quite a bit. HOWVEVER, he often mentions that the woman is "supposed to be doing this.... or that... to create value." Well, my thought on that is, if a woman has to consistently remind someone of her VALUE he doesn't get it in the FIRST PLACE and probably won't stick around in the long run, no matter what the woman tries to "portray' or 'create' between them. MEN GONNA DO WHAT MEN GONNA DO, WHICH IS WHATEVER THEY FRIGGIN WANT. IF you have to try so freakn' hard, and think so damn much about it and try to figure a bunch of shit out, how genuine is it anyways coming from the man? How long is it going to last if it is always on the woman to keep him around? DITCH the guy and find someone who actually "gets it" and sees your value in the first place. and wants a relationship. GEEZ. It really isn't rocket science.

Such great advice Elliot ! That’s how it is !! If you want to have a man who chases you , give him the opportunity to do it and love it , he’ll love you more for it. Meantime ladies, it’s a numbers game, have fun and play the field😎

That’s how I know it’s true because every single relationship coach or video tells us you must master moving on completely to the point where he doesn’t even think he can get you back 😭😂 cause usually at that point you should be over him

"Have your cake and eat it too." Boy Bye, not working with me no more and they can't handle it especially the ones approaching me with a made up persona, but I see right through them because I am working on myself and setting standards. What if you don't want him back because you don't have the same emotions or want to put forth the same effort or energy as you did the first time? Because you are tired or just no longer in the same mindset.

When a guy treats you badly. Run away! Some ppl are Jerks and toxic. Friends with benefits who invented this? If you dont open your eyes you will be on the merry go round for a long time. It will get worse if you stay. He is right!!!! Listen to him. Great video!

Started dating this guy . He had a bad habit of texting in the morning. Really basic generic conversation. Good morning, Hru.., then when I try to have an actual conversation he stops talking. Only to start this all over again the next day . Nah ... I choose myself and decided to ignore him .

Right on!!!! Dont give someone whos treating you bad, your precious time! Treat them accordingly.... I once had a guy making plans with me and two times he flaked so i moved him according out the door. When you cant follow through on your word, it is no longer wanted here. Know what you want so you dont put up with bs.

I agree with everything you said! And I used to be one of the ones who was too readily available and who was super outcome dependent... Once I realized that I did not like or want to tolerate his treatment anymore, I completely removed my laser focus off of him, and focused on myself and my happiness... He immediately noticed, and began to come around... It doesn't mean that he changed, because he has not, so I continue to treat him as just a friend, with no ulterior motives aside from my own happiness ... you need to look at and accept people for who they are right now, and not their potential... Elliot knows what he's talking about, heed his advice, even though it seems counterintuitive

What if it's a long distance relationship? Every time we met, we were acting like a couple. He came here where i live, we live in different countries. I sent him text and asked him after he left, if we are dating. This is what he told me. He values our friendship. He is not looking for a serious relationship right now and a long distance relationship is very difficult. I wished him the best and walked away.

(thanks to your bad a$$ advice!) so now that I am in a serious committed relationship and I’ve moved on but my ex is coming back and this video is perfect timing! This guy I was stuck on him so long! I waited for him for 2 years! And as soon as I move on now he wants to come back and has been going to my work, trying to see me or invite me places I’m like ?!?
