I treat my Apple Card just like a corporate Amex; I use it mainly to reap the rewards, funneling as much through it as I can, but always paying off the balance every month. It just doesn't make sense to carry a balance with the Apple Card since it will quickly offset your reward dollars when you have to start paying interest.

Top tip: with a card like the Blue cash or Blue cash preferred, you can get 3% or 6% back on Apple purchases respectively by just buying Apple gift cards from your local grocery store (it's slightly less than 6% for the preferred if you take into account the annual fee, blue cash has no annual fee). Slightly more work for this, but even for someone that regularly buys Apple devices, it's not really difficult to do. The same trick can be used on other gift cards from other merchants too, plus there is the other cash back categories. So while I agree the Apple card is very simple, you can get greater gains with just a little more planning.

One important thing you didn’t mention about the physical card in restaurants is that in the US most servers take the cards back somewhere out of sight to process the charge. I’ve been the victim of fraud this way before, and I really like the fact that the Apple Card has NO numbers on it for criminals to steal. For this reason, it my go-to card in restaurants generally (unless Discover is offering 5% that quarter). The other thing I like about it is how easy it is to use with Banktivity or Quicken. Yes, it won’t automatically download into those financial apps, but at the end of the month it is easy to download through the wallet app and import with a couple of clicks into the software using any file type you want. I didn’t apply for the card for a couple of years because of not being automatic, but that small step is really NBD and it’s worth it to be able to use the Apple Card.

The Exxon 3 percent cash back reward has been great. That's about 10 cents a gallon at prices where I live. Add another 3 cents off a gallon with the Exxon Mobil rewards program. I can add another 1-cent discount by linking my AARP account (old man alert) for a total of about 14 cents a gallon. I've noticed that more merchants are offering a pay with Apple card option online,. I'm completely satisfied with the Apple card.

Great video. There are a couple of things you could have mentioned to make it even more attractive. 1) no additional charges on international purchases 2) the physical card you use at restaurants etc. issues a one-time use credit card number, meaning that the merchant cannot copy your number and use it to make another unauthorized transaction.

Great video! I too love my Apple Card and Apple Cash. I got mine late 2020 and use it for purchases for which I would normally have used my debit card. I even set up any auto payments for my monthly bills like gas, electric, cell service to be paid using my Apple Card. Since I started using it, I have earned just under $340.00! That's free money folks! Something that our presenter didn't seem to stress enough is that it is not 'points' you earn, it is actual CASH which you can transfer to your bank anytime you want via ACH for free. Or if you have made purchases for Apple products, you can have the payments come from your Apple Cash account to pay for them. It's the best thing to come along for me since the debit card. As our presenter said, you should use Apple Pay on your iPhone vs. the physical card whenever possible to maximize your Apple Cash rewards. Where I use it and they don't have Apple Pay, everyone is so impressed by the physical titanium card! I admit it, I drank the Apple Kool-Aid!

Learned not to keep the white titanium card in a leather wallet in year 1. It will stain the card’s white coating. You CAN exchange your card out through the card interface though.

I don’t like Goldman sacs. They are far too ignorant when it comes credit cards at least with Apple anyway. I got the Apple Card by buying earbuds and opting for Apple Card as payment before I had one. It approved and was $950. When I applied 3 times outside of that it was denied. Then after I got the card I paid it off in full after 3 months, used the crap out of it, but had to keep paying it off every 4 to 5 days to be able to use it because the credit limit was so low. After 6 months of dedicated usage I applied for limit increase and was denied. 780 credit score. 3 days later I applied for a citi bank card an was approved with 8k limit off the rip. Since then I have buses the Apple card and probably never will. This was over a year ago and since I have received a 2.5k limit increase on my citi and a 4K increase on my barclay, and a 3.5k increase on my capital one with it even asking. Absolutely nothing from Apple/Goldman sacs. I think there decisions far studied compared to any other bank in the us. Not mention your point that using the physical card is only 1% cash back as opposed to 2% if you use your device. So when you shop somewhere that don’t have Apple Pay or you don’t want to hand your unlocked phone over to a waitress to walk to the back with. you loose out by using their fancy titanium card that they brag about so much. It’s Just ignorant.

Of all my credit cards it has the best and most informative interface by far and the Daily Cash Back is killer. I won't list the many other things I love as you already have but I will say that this will be the one card they will have to "Pry from my cold, dead hands".

It really sucks that you need the Apple card in order to get the savings account. I'm in enough debt as it is and I refuse to go into more debt. Apple needs to fix this. It's discrimination because I want to get a savings account but I shouldn't have to take out more credit cards just to get a good savings account. I know I'm going to get rejected for the Apple Card. It's not fair. I work so hard to get a good credit score and it's never going to be good enough for the Apple card. sometimes I wonder why I even bother trying.

Using BoA 1.5% Unlimited Cashback + BoA Reward program boosts 75% of the reward. Gives a total of 2.65% of Unlimited CashBack one Anything. Compared to that, Apple Card is trash. Even the 3% selected get another BoA Customs Reward plan selected 3%, glossary store 2% with boost, it becomes 5.25% and 3.5% on first $3K each quarter. Which is a much better deal. And using Online shopping and a lot of e-Pay methods considers online(like Kroger pay, you can get 5.25%)
