The Kokuyo and Sunstar highlighters look awesome, they’re the kind of thing that makes me want to take very aesthetic notes, but when i actually take notes for class it’s very quick messy writing lol.
@CindyNihgt

Same! I would bring a variety of pens and colors and different things for notes and always end up just using a pencil to quickly jot down as much as I could during lectures.
@jkchiang
2 жыл бұрын
yeah lectures are material dense and they go fast. i like to take notes in my rocketbook with erasable ink and transfer those notes to kokuyo campus loose leaf, and add that to my binder of notes. it’s a good way to review too since i’m organizing the messy notes into what makes sense for me! after i’m done i can erase the messy notes and repeat the process lol
@caidalee1994
2 жыл бұрын
The messy notes are the first iteration. I take my notes from class and rewrite them later at home the way I’d like them to look. It makes me happy to look at them, allows me to draw diagrams or pictures or memes to help understand the material, and helps with memorizing the info since I’m writing it twice in my own words. Highly recommend!

My dad bought me a Fisher Space Pen when I graduated high school. I used it through college and in my jobs afterwards. I've never needed to ask to borrow pens or try to draw zigzags to get the pen to start writing. They may be pricey, but considering I haven't needed to buy any other pens since (besides maybe a pack of refills) means I've probably saved a lot of money, and frustration, on other pens.

For the record, NASA didn't spend a dime developing the space pen. Paul Fisher spent his own money developing them, sent one to NASA saying hey check this out, and the rest is history.

Im surprised the entire world doesn't know it by now, but the old joke about that pen and the Soviet pencil entirely misses the point. Early space craft were little more than death traps, the electrically conductive graphite dust from a pencil actually represented a small but real safety risk. NASA were just going to use pencils anyway, but fisher spent his own money on it, and then sold it to both space programmes.

There's variations on the story (and on the "facts") - many exaggerations, elaborations, fabrications, distortions over many years - but there was a lot of public outcry in the 1960s when it was learned that NASA spent far too much money developing a "space pen". An expensive pen with expensive engineered ink which could write when oriented upside down, when in zero-g conditions, etc. Meanwhile, the Soviet space program was using pencils.
