Feeling honored that your watch journey has led you to my channel. :) I don‘t think you would regret buying this Orient (or almost any other for that matter).

@@watchesinthewild8276 I already got the blue Orient Ray 2. I great diver. Now I need to round out my watch collection with a nice "dressy" versatile watch. I am think the orient bambino that you have or the seiko snkl23/snk355.

I would probably go for the Orient over these two… but you can‘t really choose wrong here…

Perhaps save up some additional money for a better leather strap (the black one that comes with it isn‘t that great).

Hi! I recently owned this watch, have not been delivered yet. Is the brown strap, that we see on your watch, the default one which comes with the watch?

Hey, Im a young watch enthusiast not making a lot of money. Orient is my favorite brand right now but I've been thinking about saving some money to buy a grand seiko. I would just like to konw your opinion on grand seikos and do you think theyre worth the money.

Hi Kairo, interesting question. Of course there is a significant quality difference between a Grand Seiko and an Orient (let‘s not kid ourselves) but an even more significant difference in price. You said you‘re not making a fortune at this point, I‘m not sure then whether it is wise to put all your eggs in one basket and spend a lot of money on one watch. GS makes amazing products, I love mine. But you might not be able to enjoy it if all your expendable money is bound up in this object. Also, GS, due to its Zaratsu polish, scratches extremely easily, so you might just end up being nervous about it all the time. If you are fascinated with GS dials I suggest you consider a Seiko Cocktail Time (made a video about one recently). The non-limited versions are around 400 dollars and absolutely stunning in person.

Awesome video and watch! I have the 36mm yellow gold version, which I love. Is yours really losing 30seconds a day? That would drive me crazy and I would try to regulate it. I have a Ray 2 that is around 10seconds fast per day, the Bambino is at 5 out of the box.

Hi Tiago, the Orient Bambino (which belongs to my brother) is indeed somewhat inaccurate. In my view that doesn’t take away from it being an AMAZING value proposition though. I really enjoyed my time with this watch and am considering getting an Orient myself at some point. The Ray 2 is certainly a candidate…

30 seconds a day is normal for many watches. Check Teddy Baldassarre's newest video about it. Most affordable watches runs 5-30 seconds a day unless you buy one that has been tested or have a certification of being accurate.

@@xfani I'm completely aware of that. Most affordable watches claim up to 30 or 40 seconds - but that's just go be secure, I'd say. I own plenty of affordable automatic Seikos, Orient and Citizen and the worst are at around 15 a day. And you can regulate them to be even better.
@xfani

@@tiagodvt 30 seconds is still reasonable. Of course you can regulate the watch but I still think you can live with it. My Oris Big Crown Pointer runs about 10-20 seconds a day and I don't care. If you want complete accuracy then I suggest investing in a good chronograph than having expectations of 300e or less watch would run even 5-10 seconds per day.

@@watchesinthewild8276 I think you should have yours serviced under the warranty. Mine looses less than 2 seconds per day, if any. I've never noticed it differ from any atomic clock but I do wear it everyday.

Losing around 30 s/day? My F6222-based RA-AP0003S (aka "Bambino small seconds") gains around +2 s/day.
